Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve durability and workability as well as to effective use resource by molding an admixture made up of mixing a binder in the chips of a bamboo with a press at hot high pressure. CONSTITUTION:Bamboo is crushed into chip form by a chipper or the like, forming bamboo chips, there. Then a binder of urethane adhesives, etc., or such resin as urea resin is mixed in the bamboo chips, forming an admixture as well. In addition, this admixture is filled up in a specified formed die, molding it into a bamboo quality material formed in plate or bar form by means of press molding at hot high pressure.

However, the above-mentioned conventional wood and plywood have the following problems. From the viewpoint of the rapid increase in environmental protection awareness and the balance of the earth's ecosystem, it is expected that the timber price will continue to rise due to the continuous scarcity of forest resources. Although plywood is mainly made from South Sea wood, the price of South Sea wood is skyrocketing in connection with the above. In addition, plywood is a waste product that uses large old logs and has a yield of about 70% of the input logs. Since wood and plywood are not uniform in material, they are prone to deviations, making it difficult to manufacture large ones. The wood is fragile and not easy to handle.

EXAMPLES Examples of the present invention will be described below. The bamboo material is a mixture of bamboo chips and an adhesive, which is press-molded into an arbitrary shape, for example, a plate shape or a rod shape. Bamboo chips are processed by crushing bamboo into chips. A known chipper or the like is appropriately used for pulverizing the bamboo material. The adhesive may be any adhesive, resin or the like as long as it can bond the bamboo chips to each other. For example, urethane adhesive, urea resin, phenol resin or the like can be used. Then, a mixed material, in which an adhesive is mixed with bamboo chips, is filled in a mold having a predetermined shape and press-molded at high temperature and high pressure. The size of the bamboo material to be manufactured can be freely set according to the size of the mold used at this time.

According to the above bamboo material, the following effects can be obtained. Bamboo chips are used as the main material, so the material is homogeneous and there is little deviation, so it is possible to easily manufacture large-sized plates, bars, etc. Also, since the bamboo chips are the main material, the same It is lighter than plywood and so on, so it is very easy to carry. Bamboo wood grows in a short period of time (about 2 years) and is flourishing all over the world, so stable supply is possible and price fluctuations are small, so mass production is possible. Since bamboo is inexpensive, it is possible to obtain an inexpensive bamboo material. Since all bamboo materials can be used as bamboo chips, there is no waste of material. It is very easy to cut and process, and for example, sawing and nailing are possible. Bamboo wood can be used in all the conventional places where wood is used. That is, it can be used in various fields such as house pillars, floor boards, furniture, and housing equipment. In addition, an article of any shape, for example, a form, a box, a drawer of furniture, and the like can be integrally formed by press molding. Since bamboo chips are the main material, they are much more excellent in strength, durability, etc. than plywood of the same size, so they are more versatile than plywood. Bamboo material is mainly made of bamboo and does not easily rot. Therefore, it can be easily recycled by crushing it after use. Therefore, it is not necessary to burn or bury it for effective use of resources.
