Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease number of operation buttons and to make a drawer type operation section small in size by using one operation button for two functions. CONSTITUTION:Two functions are assigned to one operation button. In order to use the button depending on the adjustment items, a display panel 2 is fitted to a main body of an operation section 1 in a single swing way by using a hinge 3 and throughholes 9 from which operation buttons 4 are projected are made to the display panel 2 accordingly.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a user adjusting operation section structure provided in an electronic device such as a television receiver, and more particularly to a display structure of operation buttons having two functions.

2. Description of the Related Art In electronic equipment such as a television receiver, a drawer type operation section is provided as a user adjustment operation section in the lower front portion of a cabinet. As a pull-out type operation unit, for example, as shown in FIG.

In an electronic device 10 such as a television receiver, an opening 8 is provided in a lower front portion of a cabinet 7 which constitutes the electronic device 10, and a drawer-type operation for moving back and forth is provided in the opening 8 as a user adjusting operation section. Therefore, the operation button 4 is operated with reference to the function name printed on the display panel 2. In the state where the display panel 2 is closed, the operation button 4 of a special function that is rarely used is hidden behind the back surface of the display panel 2 and cannot be seen. That is, the hole through which the operation button 4 projects is not perforated. For special adjustment, remove the screws 5 on the display panel 2 and open the display panel 2.
The function display printed on the main body of the operation unit 1 and the operation button 4 hidden on the display panel 2 appear to enable predetermined adjustment.

Next, a description will be given of a measure for catching the operation section when the operation section 1 is stored and the screw 5 for fixing the display panel 2 is forgotten to be fastened and is stored in the cabinet 7 as it is.

A rib 6 having a predetermined shape is provided on the inner surface of the side wall of the cabinet 7 in the vicinity of the opening 8 of the cabinet 7 through which the operation section 1 comes in and out. As shown in FIG. 2, the ribs 6 prevent the display panel 2 from opening inside the cabinet 7 and press the display panel 2. With this configuration, the display panel 2 is prevented from being caught inside the cabinet 7 and the drawer tray type operation unit 1 cannot be pulled out.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the number of operation buttons and downsize the operation section by providing one operation button with two functions. In addition, it is possible to hide operation buttons that are not normally used on the back side of the display panel.

Further, by attaching a rib to the inside of the main body of the apparatus, it is prevented that the display panel is opened inside and cannot be pulled out even if the screw fastening of the display panel is forgotten and the operation portion is closed.

[Claims] 1. An operation unit which is inserted into and removed from a cabinet opening of an electronic device, a display panel which is attached to the operation unit so as to be able to open on one side, and which is arranged in a matrix on the operation unit and has one or more functions. An operation device for an electronic device, comprising: an operation button, wherein a through hole for projecting the operation button is formed in the display panel in correspondence with at least one of the operation buttons. 2. The rib for preventing the display panel from being half-opened in the cabinet at the upper end side of the cabinet opening of the electronic device and at the inner surface side of the cabinet.
