Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a dryer capable of vapaorizing water at low temperature and at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:An article to be dried (cloths, etc.) is placed into a pressure container 1 as a drying chamber in which microwaves can be contained, and the chamber is reduced to proper pressure by an exhaust pump 3. Herein, microwaves generated in a microwave generator 4 are guided into the container and confined in the same to selctively heat water molecules in the article for promotion of evaporation.

The conventional dryer described above has the following drawbacks. (B) A large-capacity heating device for generating warm air and a blower for generating a large amount of air are required, and high energy cost is required. (B) Although only the water needs to be vaporized, the object to be dried (clothing, equipment, organic matter, etc.) itself is also heated and raised in temperature, so that an excessive amount of heat is required and the efficiency is poor. (C) A large amount of noise is generated due to the generation of hot air during drying and its exhaust. Further, a method of directly putting a material to be dried such as clothes into a conventional electromagnetic wave heating device can be considered. However, this drawback is as follows. (D) Even if the temperature rises and the vapor starts to diffuse, the vapor is immediately saturated in the hermetically sealed heating device, further reducing the drying efficiency. (E) The water content rises up to the normal boiling point of about 100 ° C., and there is a possibility that the material to be dried will be greatly damaged when it is a material weak against heat.

As shown in FIG. 1, the saturated vapor pressure of water changes to a lower pressure side when the temperature is low. Therefore, if the atmospheric pressure is lowered, the water content can be evaporated at a low temperature. Therefore, by adopting an electromagnetic wave heating method that can directly heat only water without heating the fiber itself as a heating method, it efficiently promotes evaporation of water and is also applied to heat-sensitive materials such as fibers. It can be possible. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, a material to be dried (clothes or the like) () is put in a pressure resistant container () capable of confining microwaves, and the pressure inside the container is reduced to an appropriate pressure by an exhaust pump (). At this time, the microwave generated by the microwave generator () is guided into the container, confined in the container, and water molecules in the material to be dried are selectively heated to evaporate.

The boiling point of water is lowered by putting the material to be dried in a pressure resistant container capable of confining microwaves and reducing the atmospheric pressure in the container with an exhaust pump. In this state, the water molecules are heated by the microwave to evaporate the water to such an extent that the material to be dried such as fibers does not reach a high temperature. If necessary, dry air of the outside air is introduced so that water molecules are always discharged to the outside of the container.

EXAMPLES Examples of the present invention will be described below. (B) If the material to be dried is clothes, it becomes a clothes dryer. In the case of clothes, most of them are made of fibers that are weak against heat, so it is considered that this method that can evaporate water at a relatively low temperature is effective.
It also has a short drying time and should be easy to use. (B) If the dried material is washed tableware, it becomes a tableware dryer. Since the environment is under reduced pressure and heating, it is considered that the possibility of killing various bacteria can be increased, which is also effective in hygiene. (C) By using an experimental device / medical device in which the material to be dried is washed, it is possible to dry materials that are weak against heat (polymer materials, etc.) and devices that do not want to be heated to a high temperature. Since it has the sterilizing effect described in (a) above, it is also suitable for drying medical equipment. (D) If the material to be dried is raw garbage, since the treatment method has not been established until now, the raw garbage that tends to become unsanitary due to the propagation of various bacteria is almost completely dried as necessary. Therefore, it can be organized in a hygienic manner. Therefore, this plan is also effective for environmental problems. However, in this case, it is composed of a filter, a catalyst, etc. in order to remove the bad odor from the exhaust port ().
It is necessary to install the exhaust gas purification device. (E) If the material to be dried is an appropriate food (soup, curry, etc.), dried food can be easily prepared. this is,
It is thought that it can be regenerated later by adding water and simmering again. In this embodiment as well, it may be necessary to install an exhaust purification device () composed of a filter, a catalyst, etc. in order to remove a bad odor or the like from the exhaust port ().

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, the conventional dryer is a system for blowing hot air onto the material to be dried to dry it. Can be dried at high speed.
For this reason, it is considered that it becomes possible to easily perform the drying work which has been difficult in the past, such as those which are vulnerable to heat and those which are desired to be dried in a short time.
