In the writing instrument of the present invention as described above, when a desired character, figure or the like is written on the writing section, the character, figure or the like is invisible in a normal state because it is written with the transparent fluorescent ink. Then, driven by the driving unit, the light emitting unit emits a light ray of a first wavelength such as ultraviolet rays, and when this light ray is applied to the writing portion, the transparent fluorescent ink emits a visible light ray of the second wavelength. Writing images such as characters and figures can be visually recognized. Further, when the irradiation of the light rays by the light emitting unit is stopped, the transparent fluorescent ink stops the emission of the visible light rays, so that the written image becomes invisible again. Therefore, according to the writing instrument of the present invention, it is possible to make the written image visible and invisible as many times as possible.

The switch member 31 made of an elastic material such as rubber is sandwiched between the substrate 20 and the light emitting case 6. The pressing portion 31a of the switch member 31 is exposed to the outside of the light emitting unit case 6 through a switch hole 6f which is an opening formed in the light emitting case. A movable contact 31b made of conductive rubber is formed on the center of the switch member 31 on the side of the substrate 20 so as to face the substrate 20 with a predetermined gap. Moving contact 3 on substrate 20
Two contact patterns (not shown) made of a conductive material are formed in a portion facing 1b, and constitute the UV lamp drive switch together with the movable contact 31b. The two contact patterns are formed at a predetermined interval and are insulated from each other. One of the contact patterns is electrically connected to one electrode of the battery 30 through the battery connecting member 28 by the conductive pattern formed on the substrate 20, and the other of the contact patterns is formed on the substrate 20. It is electrically connected to the UV lamp driving circuit by another conductive pattern. When the pressing portion 31a is pressed to the left in FIG. 3, the switch member 31 elastically deforms, the movable contact 31b comes into contact with both contact patterns of the fixed contact, and the both contact patterns are moved. Make it conductive. When the contact patterns are made conductive, the output voltage of the battery 30 is applied to the UV lamp drive circuit, and the UV lamp drive circuit outputs UV light.
The lamp 23 is turned on and ultraviolet rays are emitted. When the pressing force applied to the pressing portion 31a of the switch member 31 disappears, the switch member 31 returns to its original shape, the movable contact 31b is separated from the fixed contact both contact patterns, and both contact patterns are insulated again. As a result, the UV lamp drive circuit turns off the UV lamp 23. Thus, the above UV
The lamp 23 is turned on and emits ultraviolet rays only while the pressing portion 31a of the switch member 31 is being pressed.

As described above, according to the highlighter pen of this embodiment, it is possible to write invisible characters and figures with the transparent fluorescent ink, and invisible characters and figures written with ultraviolet rays by the built-in UV lamp. If you illuminate the
The figures etc. are visible. After that, when the irradiation of ultraviolet rays is stopped, the characters, figures, etc. become invisible again. As described above, with the highlighter pen of this embodiment, it is possible to make written characters, figures, etc. visible or invisible as often as necessary. Further, since the transparent fluorescent ink itself emits visible light, the present fluorescent pen makes the characters, figures, etc. exposed by ultraviolet irradiation bright and vivid and easy to visually recognize.
Further, since the writing portion and the light emitting portion are integrated with each other in the present fluorescent pen, the content of the writing can be confirmed by irradiating with ultraviolet light immediately after writing without losing one of them.

The transparent fluorescent ink used in the present invention is not limited to the above, and the light rays to be irradiated are not limited to the above wavelengths as long as they match the properties of the fluorescent ink.

The fluorescent writing instrument of the present invention is a transparent fluorescent material having a property of emitting visible light of a second wavelength different from the first wavelength when irradiated with a light of the first wavelength such as ultraviolet rays. A writing part that is capable of writing by a writing part having a pen tip containing ink, and is a part where the light beam of the first wavelength, such as ultraviolet rays, emitted by the light emitting part when driven by the driving part is written by the writing part. Since it is possible to irradiate the object, it is possible to visualize and invisible the written image such as written characters and figures as many times as necessary. In addition, since the fluorescent ink is used, the ink emits visible light, and thus the written handwritten image that is exposed is brighter, more vivid, and easier to see than a conventional writing instrument that can conceal the written handwritten image.
