CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a magnetic head 1 to read and write information for a recording medium, a gimbal 2 having a slit 2a so that the magnetic head 1 can move following the movement of the recording medium, and a flexible printed circuit board 10(FPC) in contact with the gimbal to transmit information signals from the magnetic head. A crossbar part 11 formed on the edge of the FPC 10 in the magnetic head supporting device is fixed to cross over the slit 2a.
