Description of the Related Art A bracket fixed to a vehicle body is rotatably provided around a uniaxial center, and a pedal pad is depressed to rotate the pedestal from its original position to a uniaxial center so that a predetermined distance can be obtained. A vehicle operation pedal device for pressing or pulling an action member, such as a brake pedal or an accelerator pedal,
Although a clutch pedal is widely known, one of such vehicle operation pedal devices is proposed in which the position of the pedal pad can be moved in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. For example, JP-A-63-49528 (conventional example 1), JP-A-2-39214 (conventional example 2), JP-B-62-5700 (conventional example 3), JP-A-51-2.
The device described in Japanese Patent No. 2218 (Prior Art 4) is an example thereof, and according to such an operation pedal device, the position of the pedal pad is adjusted to an optimum position according to the body shape and preferences of the driver. Therefore, the driving operation becomes easy.

The posture and height position of the pedal pad are maintained substantially constant, and by displacing the support portion of the bracket and the connecting portion of the operating member, which are the uniaxial center, with the forward and backward movement of the pedal pad, The ratio of the distance to the pedal pad to the distance from the uniaxial center to the connecting portion of the action member (hereinafter referred to as the lever ratio) is set to be substantially constant, and the required stepping force does not change even if the pedal pad is moved back and forth. It is like this. In the conventional example 3, the pedal pad is moved in parallel along the elongated hole, and the posture and height position of the pedal pad are maintained constant. Further, in Conventional Example 4, the entire operation pedal is moved in parallel using a parallel link, and the posture and height position of the pedal pad are maintained substantially constant, and at the time of stepping operation, a single link is used. The action member is pressed by rotating the lever member.

強度対策が困難である。However, in the conventional examples 1 and 2, the number of parts is large, the structure is complicated and large-scaled, and the assembly is troublesome and the cost is high. Although the conventional example 3 has a simple structure, it is locked by fitting the notch and the projection, so that the front-back adjustment is stepwise and the pedal pad sways up and down during the adjustment, and the adjustment cannot be performed smoothly. At the same time, since the lever ratio changes with the movement of the pedal pad, the required stepping operation force changes. In addition, in all of these conventional examples 1 to 3, since the pedal pad is moved in parallel along the elongated hole, a relatively large space is required in the front-rear direction, and twisting is likely to occur during movement, Since there is rattling in the engagement of the long holes, there is a problem that the feeling is deteriorated. On the other hand, in the conventional example 4 using the parallel link, the movement at the time of front-back adjustment is smooth, but the operation pedal is supported by one of the parallel links, and the operation force is transmitted through the other link and the lever member. Therefore, it is difficult to structurally obtain sufficient strength and rigidity. Further, since it is necessary to suppress the vertical movement of the pedal pad due to the forward / backward adjustment, the length of the parallel link cannot be shortened for the purpose of downsizing and strength increase, which requires a large space and makes it difficult to take strength measures.

The operation pedal device is capable of moving the position of the pedal pad in the front-rear direction of the vehicle while pressing or pulling a predetermined acting member by being rotated from its original position around its one axis. And (a) a rotating arm that is attached to the bracket so as to be rotatable about the one axis, and (b) axes that are substantially parallel to the one axis at two positions separated from each other of the rotating arm. A pair of link members that are rotatably rotatable about the center and are connected to each other so as to extend downward, and (c) a figure that connects the lower connecting portion and the upper connecting portion of the pair of link members is a substantially parallelogram. So that While being rotatably connected around each of the shaft center approximately parallel to the axis to the lower connecting portion,
The stepping member provided with the pedal pad, and (d) one of the pair of link members and the rotating arm are arranged so as to straddle, and the pair of link members and the rotating arm are always provided. And a front-rear adjusting means for changing the position of the stepping member by integrally rotating one of the link members and the rotating arm at different connecting angles. The member is connected to the rotating arm or the link member so as to be rotatable about an axis substantially parallel to the one axis.

Since the link member, the rotating arm, and the stepping member are integrally rotated around the uniaxial center, structurally sufficient mechanical strength can be obtained. Further, if the connecting angle between the link member and the rotating arm is changed, the stepping member connected to the lower connecting portions of the pair of link members so that the connecting portions at the four locations form a substantially parallelogram will be the front and rear of the vehicle. The pedal pad can be adjusted in the front-rear direction while maintaining the posture and height position of the pedal pad substantially constant. In that case, since it is sufficient to rotate the pair of link members relative to the rotating arm, the position of the pedal pad can be adjusted without twisting as compared with the case where the pedal pad is moved back and forth through the elongated hole. The adjustment can be performed smoothly, and the space in the front-rear direction can be reduced, so that the device is simple and compact.

As a result, even if the pedal pad is adjusted back and forth, the required stepping operation force can be maintained substantially constant. Moreover, since the link member is rotated relative to the rotating arm when the pedal pad is adjusted back and forth, the action member is simply connected to a predetermined portion of the link member, so that the adjustment lever, the pivot pin, etc. In comparison with the prior art examples 1 and 2 in which the lever ratio is maintained substantially constant by using, the device is constructed very easily.

If the distance between the pedal pad and the uniaxial center becomes smaller as the front / rear adjustment is made, the distance between the connecting portion of the operating member and the uniaxial center will also become smaller, which will have a temporary effect. can get.

A screw shaft 62 connected to the screw shaft 62 such that the screw shaft 62 is relatively movable in the axial direction and is not rotatable relative to the shaft center, and a nut 64 screwed to the screw shaft 62 and fixed to the inside of the back portion 38. Cage,
When the screw shaft 62 is rotated by the electric motor 66, the screw shaft 62 is driven to protrude in the axial direction and retract. The link member 30 has the screw shaft 6
The rotation end in the clockwise direction is defined by abutting on the tip of the screw 2, and the screw shaft 62 protrudes and is driven to be retracted so that the rotation arm 26 is relatively rotated around the connecting pin 40. It is rotated and the connection angle with respect to the rotating arm 26 is changed. When the connecting angle of the link member 30 is changed in this manner, the other link member 32 is also rotated around the connecting pin 42, and the stepping member 34 is translated in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, as shown in FIG. It is positioned at any position between the front end and the rear end shown in FIG. The front end and the rear end are determined by the retracted end position and the protruding end position of the screw shaft 62.

Link member 30
And 32, the stepping member 34 is integrally rotated around the support shaft 16, so that a structurally sufficient mechanical strength can be obtained as compared with the conventional example 4. In addition, if the connecting angle between the rotating arm 26 and the link member 30 is changed by the front-rear adjusting means 60 by operating a switch provided in the driver's seat,
The stepping member 34 is moved substantially parallel to the front-rear direction of the vehicle, and the front-rear position of the pedal pad 20 can be adjusted while maintaining the posture and height position of the pedal pad 20 substantially constant. In that case, since the pair of link members 30 and 32 need only be relatively rotated with respect to the rotating arm 26, comparison is made when the pedal pad is moved back and forth through the elongated holes as in the conventional examples 1 to 3. As a result, the position of the pedal pad 20 can be adjusted smoothly without causing any twisting, and the space in the front-rear direction can be reduced, so that the device is simple and compact.

Distance L corresponding to changes in L2
The change of 1 allows the lever ratio L2 / L1 to be maintained substantially constant, so that the pedal pad 20
The required stepping force is maintained at a substantially constant level even when is adjusted back and forth. Moreover, since the link member 30 is rotated relative to the rotating arm 26 when the pedal pad 20 is adjusted in the front-rear direction, the rod 24 is simply connected to a predetermined portion of the link member 30. As compared with the case of using the adjusting lever, the pivot pin, or the like as in 1 and 2, the device is configured very easily.

08 is also relatively rotated counterclockwise of the connecting pin 118, so that the stepping member 110 is moved substantially parallel to the vehicle rear side which is the right direction in the drawing, and the front end shown in FIG.
It is positioned at any position between the rear end shown in FIG. As a result, the position of the pedal pad 98 in the vehicle front-rear direction is adjusted, but in this embodiment as well, the position of the connecting portion of the throttle cable 102, that is, the connecting pin 136 is displaced as the link member 106 rotates. The lever ratio is maintained substantially constant regardless of the front / rear adjustment of the pedal pad 98, and the stepping operation force is hardly changed. In this example, clevis 1
Since the position of 00 is defined by the bracket 92,
When the link member 106 is rotated relative to the rotating arm 104, the rotating arm 104 is also rotated around the support shaft 94 accordingly, but as shown in FIG. If the clevis 142 having a hook shape is connected to the link member 140, which replaces the link member 106, through the connecting pin 136 at the right lateral position, the rotation arm 104 associated with the relative rotation of the link member 140 is moved. Rotation can be suppressed.
