Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the deterioration of image quality due to the temp. rising of an optical writing device by providing a control means for changing an image recording process condition in accordance with the detection output of the temp. rising by a temp. detecting means in order to obtain an optimum image. CONSTITUTION:Temp. information by the temp. detecting means is inputted to a process condition control means, and the surface potential of a photoreceptor as an electrophotographic process condition, or a developing bias is changed in detail by a control substrate 13 functioning as the control means so as to keep the image constant. That is, the surface potential of the photoreceptor is decided based on a voltage supplied by a power supply device 12 for supplying the voltage to an electrostatic charger 3. The temp. detection output by the temp. detecting means is inputted to the control substrate 13 in order to decide the impressed voltage, and also, a proper voltage capable of recovering the influence of the temp. rising is commanded to the power supply device 12 and the impressed voltage is changed, consequently, the surface potential is changed.
