Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a camera, to prevent water from entering the inside of the camera and to adjust internal pressure in accordance with the movement of a lens barrel without increasing the number of parts so much by providing a ventilation groove and a ventilation hole and covering them with a different member so that air can be sucked and exhausted. CONSTITUTION:The ventilation groove 41 on which water repellent coating is executed is formed on the joining surface of a main body cover 1 to a grip rubber 3. The groove 41 is extended toward the upper part of the camera. When it is extended by prescribed length, a space,42 beat at an almost right angle toward the lens barrel is formed there. The ventilation hole 43 is formed on the bottom surface A of the space 42 and made to communicate with the inside of the camera by being bent in the center direction of the camera in the midst thereof Then, such structure that the inside and the outside of the camera are made to communicate is obtained. Besides, a cloth on which water repellent processing is executed is stuck near an aperture part on the inside of the hole 43 so as to obtain such structure that the water does not directly enter the inside from the aperture part. Therefore, even when the water flows from the lower part, it hardly enters from the hole 43 and the internal pressure can be adjusted in accordance with the movement of the lens barrel at the zooming time of the camera.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when a camera provided with a lens barrel that advances and retracts in the optical axis direction due to zooming or focusing has a drip-proof structure, the internal pressure changes, so the entire camera is completely protected by packing or the like. In addition to having a drop structure, a breeze hole was provided to connect the inside and outside of the camera. A ventilation / non-water-permeable filter is provided in this breeze hole, and this filter is covered with a cover having ventilation means.
Was proposed as 35.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention]
Since a non-water-permeable filter does not allow water to pass therethrough but it also does not allow air to pass therethrough, it requires a relatively large area, and since it cannot be bonded, it needs to be held down by another member, resulting in an increase in the number of parts and cost. Further, since the ventilation / non-water-permeable filter is very expensive in itself, it is more costly, and it becomes a problem when it is applied to a compact camera characterized by being small, lightweight and inexpensive.

[Embodiment] In this embodiment, attention is paid to the attitude of the camera when the camera is used and when it is not used. Most of the states of the camera when in use are “normal position” in FIG. 1 or “vertical position” in which the camera is tilted 90 ° to the left or right around the optical axis. The state of the camera when not in use may be that it is in a bag or the like when it is moved, it is hung from the shoulder or neck with a strap, or it is stored at home.
When it is lowered by a strap, it is considered to be in the same state as in the above-mentioned use, and most of the states in FIGS.

Therefore, according to the present embodiment, a ventilation groove extending from the bottom of the main body to the upper portion of the main body, which is relatively resistant to water in the above-described state, is provided, and the ventilation groove is bent toward the lens barrel side (front of the camera). By forming a ventilation hole that further connects with the inside in a part of the bent ventilation groove, it is difficult for water to enter from the ventilation hole even if water flows from the bottom in the state as shown in FIG. The internal pressure can be adjusted with the movement of the lens barrel during zooming. Also, this is the same on the top surface of the camera, with ventilation grooves provided in the longitudinal direction of the surface,
The same effect can be obtained by bending this on the lens barrel side and providing a ventilation hole.

A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. Reference numeral 1 denotes a main body cover, in which a lens barrel 2, a finder window 5, an AF window 6, and a strobe Fresnel lens 7 are incorporated, and the inside and outside of the camera are made watertight. 3 is a grip rubber, which is adhered to the main body cover 1 with an adhesive (not shown) such as a double-sided tape. A ventilation groove 41 having a water-repellent coating is formed on the joint surface of the body cover 1 with the grip rubber 3. The ventilation groove 41 extends to the upper part of the camera and is bent at a substantially right angle from a certain length toward the lens barrel 2 (that is, toward the front surface of the camera) to form a space 42. A ventilation hole 43 is opened in the bottom surface A of the space 42, and the ventilation hole 43 is bent toward the center of the camera midway so that the ventilation hole 43 communicates with the inside of the camera and the inside and outside of the camera. A water-repellent cloth 44 is attached near the opening 43a inside the vent hole 43, so that water does not directly enter the opening 43a.

In the first embodiment, the ventilation hole 43 must be bent halfway, whereas in this embodiment the ventilation hole 4 is bent.
A space 402 made by bending 01 at a substantially right angle to the lens barrel side (front surface direction) was further bent at a substantially right angle to the bottom side to form a B portion. A ventilation hole 403 is opened in the section B perpendicularly to the surface, so that the inside and outside of the camera have a communication structure. A water-repellent cloth 404 is attached near the opening 403a inside the vent hole 403, so that water does not directly enter the inside of the opening 403a. In addition, also in the second embodiment, the ventilation groove 401 is covered with the grip rubber.

With the structure as described above, the internal pressure is adjusted in accordance with the movement of the lens barrel in the direction of the optical axis, and the water around the camera in the state shown in FIGS. Even if it gets wet, it is possible to prevent water from getting inside the camera. Further, unlike the conventional case, it is possible to provide a drip-proof zoom camera which does not require a cost because it does not require a ventilation / non-water-permeable filter and can be formed only by molding.

As described above, the present invention relates to a structure capable of discharging the air inside the camera and sucking the outside air. The groove is provided along the outer surface of the main body cover, and the groove and the inside of the main body are connected to each other. By providing a ventilation hole that communicates with each other, and by covering the groove and the ventilation hole with a separate member so as to be able to absorb and discharge, it is possible to prevent water from entering the inside of the camera at low cost without increasing the number of parts so much, and to It is possible to provide a camera capable of adjusting the internal pressure accompanying the movement of the cylinder.
