Abstract

PURPOSE:To make adjustment possible for pockets while preventing contents from springing out by a method wherein a fluid supply source of a control device is adjusted only to an actuator connected to a pocket positioned in a section other than those in take-in-and-out positions in a turret that is equipped radially with a plurality of pockets having clipping and separating devices. CONSTITUTION:In a pocket 1 stopping at a take-in position Pi by intermittent rotation of a turret A, an actuator 2 is connected to a clipping face 1a, enabling contents B to approach and separate, and the clipping face 1a is moved toward the clipping face 1b in the opposite position. In this position, the tail end of a supply passage 4a connecting to the actuator 2 does not agree with a recess 4b of a control device 4, preventing fluid from being supplied from a fluid supply source 3, and thereby the clipping is made with a weak force, and the contents B come in with the clipping face la enlarged forcibly. As the turret turns and the pocket 1 comes into a working section, air is supplied and thereby the contents B are clipped so that they cannot be taken out. The pressure of the fluid is adjusted altogether at once, making individual adjustment unnecessary.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a packaging device of this type, as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 61-39251, a folding guide and a sealing heater are arranged around an intermittently rotating turret, and the package is fed out. By hitting the contents against the packaging material and pushing it into the turret pocket,
The wrapping material is wrapped in a U shape, and the turret rotates after folding one end of the wrapping material protruding from the pocket,
The other end of the encapsulating material hits the folding guide and is folded and superposed, and when this superposed portion comes into contact with the sealing heater, the rotation of the turret is stopped and welded. The contents from which the body winding is completed are carried out to the turret in the subsequent process,
Some turrets are intermittently rotated and the square tubular ends of the encapsulating material protruding from the side surfaces of the contents are sequentially folded and welded.

However, in such a conventional packaging device, since the turret is rotated with the opening of the pocket through which the contents come in and out, the centrifugal force causes the contents to pop out of the pocket. When force is applied in the direction, the boxes near the opening of the pocket pop out, especially if the contents are stacked in multiple boxes, resulting in poor packaging, and even if the contents are relatively large and heavy, the opening of the pocket However, there is a problem in that the contents move against the turret, and the contents collide with the folding guides and the like arranged around the turret, resulting in defective packaging.

Therefore, one of a pair of holding surfaces facing each other with the contents of each pocket interposed therebetween is supported so as to be reciprocally movable toward and away from the contents, and the reciprocating holding surfaces are compressed springs. It is conceivable that the contents may pop out between these both holding surfaces and be immovably sandwiched by pressing the contents with an elastic body such as.

However, in this case, in order to completely prevent the contents from jumping out and moving, an elastic body having a large compression force must be used, which causes the contents to be pinched with a strong force and damages the contents. If you use an elastic body with a small compressive force to maintain the quality of the contents, you can not completely prevent the contents from jumping out and it is very difficult to select an elastic body that corresponds to the rotation speed of the turret. At the same time, there is a problem that the adjustment work must be carried out for each pocket, which is troublesome.

[0006] Further, either one of a pair of holding surfaces facing each other with the contents of each pocket interposed therebetween is supported so as to be reciprocally movable toward and away from the contents, and these reciprocating holding surfaces are supported by a cam. After the content is loaded into the pocket, it moves toward the content and pops out the content so that it cannot be moved, and immediately before the content is loaded from the pocket, the reciprocating holding surface moves away from the content. It is also possible to release the contents.

According to the above technical means of the present invention, the turret starts to rotate after the contents and the packaging material are loaded into the pocket at the loading position and the pocket enters the working section. And the fluid supply source communicate with each other to move one holding surface toward the contents in the pocket, and the contents jump out at a set pressure between the both holding surfaces and are trapped immovably. When it comes out to the carry-out position, the communication between the actuator and the fluid supply source is cut off by the control means, the content is not pinched, the content can be carried out from the pocket, and the fluid is supplied by the adjusting means. By adjusting the fluid pressure from the source to the control means, the movement amount changes to the contents of one holding surface of one pocket that sequentially enters the working section, and the holding pressure of the contents once. It is intended to be adjusted.

After the contents and the encapsulating material have been loaded into the pocket at the loading position, the turret starts to rotate and the pocket enters the working section, so that the actuator and the fluid supply source communicate with each other by the control means. The gripping surface is moved toward the contents in the pocket, the contents pop out between the both gripping surfaces at a set pressure and are immovably sandwiched, and the pocket comes out of the working section to reach the carry-out position. The communication between the actuator and the fluid supply source is cut off by releasing the sandwiching of the contents, the contents can be carried out from the pocket, and the fluid pressure from the fluid supply source to the control means is adjusted by the adjusting means. As a result, the movement amount changes to the contents on one of the holding surfaces of the pockets that sequentially enter the work section, and the holding pressure of the contents is adjusted at once, so the turret It can be adjusted all the pocket at a time while preventing jumping out movement of the contents from the pocket with the rotation

Therefore, as compared with a case in which the contents are squeezed out between both holding surfaces with an elastic body such as a compression spring so as to be immovable, the quality can be maintained without damaging the contents and the adjustment work of each pocket can be performed easily. In addition, the structure is simpler and the cost is lower than the one in which the contents are loaded into the pocket by the cam, the contents are popped out and pinched immovably, and the contents are released immediately before the contents are discharged from the pocket. Not only does this reduce the size of the entire device, but it also simplifies the work of adjusting each pocket.
