Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide battery accommodation structure in which a battery can be mounted on a printed circuit board without use of a battery holder, which makes unnecessary a reduction in the number of mounting components on the printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A printed circuit board 80 is screwed to a main body case 60 and cover 70 is fixed to the case 60. A guide 72 of the cover 70 is positioned in a specified position so as to come in contact with terminal plates 84, 85 of a coin battery 90. A space is formed between the guide 72 and the printed circuit board 80. The coin battery 90 is mounted in such a way that the battery 90 is aslant inserted into the guide 72 from the direction of arrow E, and a cover 100 is slid in the direction of arrow D so that a bulge 104 of the cover 100 presses the upper surface of the battery 90 and an anode surface 93 in the bottom is fit to a contact 85a of the anode terminal plate 85 and a cathode terminal 91 to the cathode terminal plate 91. Since the battery 90 is inserted from the direction of arrow E, force to deform the terminal plate 84 is not applied. When the cover 100 is removed, one end of the battery 90 is floated by the spring action of the contact 85a to be easily taken out.

The battery holder 50 has a recess 51 for accommodating the coin battery 40, and the cathode surface 41 of the coin battery 40 inserted in the recess 51 has a cathode terminal plate 52 provided on the bottom surface of the recess. It contacts the contact spring 52a. Further, on both side surfaces of the holder 50, there are provided pawls 54 and 55 which are fitted with engaging portions (not shown) of the cover 20 when the holder 50 is inserted into the cover 20 through the opening 21. A contact portion 52b integrally formed with the cathode terminal plate 52 is provided on the side surface.

The printed wiring board unit 30 is constructed by mounting various electronic parts such as a switch 32 on both front and back surfaces of the printed wiring board 31, and as shown in FIG. A spring terminal 34 that comes into contact with the contact portion 52b of the battery holder 50 and a spring terminal 35 that comes into contact with the anode surface 42 of the coin-shaped battery 40 when inserted into the side opening 21 are provided at predetermined positions.

However, according to this conventional structure, when the battery holder 50 is taken out of the housing for battery replacement or the like, the contact portion 52b or the contact spring 52a is often touched by the hand, and the contact portion 52b or the contact portion 52b is contacted. Poor contact may occur due to oil, dust, etc. attached to the spring 52a.
Further, since the cathode side of the coin-shaped battery 40 is connected to the printed wiring board via the two contact portions of the cathode terminal plate 52 and the spring terminal 34, contact failure is likely to occur from that surface as well. Furthermore, in the battery holder 50, the claws 54 and 55 which are parts to be fitted to the case side are easily broken, and when the claws 54 and 55 are broken, the entire holder 50 including the cathode terminal plate 52 must be replaced. So it wasn't economical.

On the other hand, in order to solve the above-mentioned inconvenience, when the printed wiring board 31 itself is provided with a battery case and the coin type battery is directly accommodated in the battery case, the printed wiring board 31 is Since the space of other electronic components that can be mounted on the printed wiring board 31 is reduced by the amount occupied by the battery case to be attached, the printed wiring board becomes large, and therefore the electronic device itself becomes large. There was a problem of doing.

As described above, in the battery storage structure described above, the battery holder housing the battery is housed in the equipment casing, so that the contacts provided on the battery holder are not oiled. In addition, dust and the like are likely to adhere, and the number of contacts is large, so that a contact failure is likely to occur. There is also a problem that the claw of the battery holder provided for engaging the battery holder with the housing is easily broken. On the other hand, if the battery housing case is attached to the printed wiring board in the housing, there is a problem that other electronic parts that can be mounted on the printed wiring board are reduced by the amount of the battery housing case occupied in the printed wiring board. there were.

To mount the coin-shaped battery 90 on the receiver, first, as shown in FIG. 1, the coin-shaped battery 90 is slightly tilted and inserted into the guide portion 72 from the direction of arrow E, and then the battery lid is attached.
This is done by attaching 100 to the cover 70 from the direction of arrow D. When the battery lid 100 is slid in the direction of the arrow D along the groove 101 of the cover 70, the bulging portion 104 of the battery lid 100 presses the upper surface of the coin-shaped battery 90, and thus the cathode surface 93 which is the bottom surface. Is the cut point 8 of the cathode terminal plate 85
5a, and the degree of adhesion of the anode surface 91a to the anode terminal plate 84 is also improved. Since the coin battery 90 is inserted into the housing from the direction of arrow E, the anode terminal plate 8
No force is applied by the coin battery 90 to deform the 4.

When the coin battery 90 is taken out, as shown in FIG. 3, when the battery lid 100 is removed, the one end 90a side of the coin battery 90 is slightly moved by the spring force of the cut point 85a of the cathode terminal plate 85. Since it floats up, it can be taken out by putting a finger on the concave portion 77 formed in the guide portion 72. still,
When the other end 90b side of the coin battery 90 is pressed, one end 90
Since the floating amount on the a side also increases, the battery 90 can be taken out more easily.

As described above, in the first aspect of the invention, since the guide portion which plays the role of the battery case is provided on the cover side, the electronic parts are also provided in the area of the printed wiring board near the guide portion. It is possible to mount the components, and therefore it is not necessary to reduce the number of electronic components that can be mounted on the printed wiring board while forming the battery case corresponding to the inside of the housing.

Further, in the second invention, since the coin type battery can be directly mounted on the printed wiring board, in addition to the effect of the first invention, the number of contacts is smaller than that of the conventional storage structure using the battery holder. It also has the effect of reducing the number of contacts and making it difficult for insulating materials such as grease and dust to adhere to the contacts.
