The shape in which the ends of the threads are opened is common. In addition, as a usage form of the module, there is often an internal pressure overpressure type in which the excess liquid is pressed into the hollow fiber through the opening and the excess liquid is taken out to the outside. This is because the dirt on the membrane surface caused by excess is washed off by the flow of the excess stock solution, and the module used is one in which both ends of the hollow fiber are opened. On the other hand, in the case of removing a minute amount of fine particles or the like from an extremely clear overstock solution, an external pressurization type is also used in which the overstock solution is pressed from the outside of the hollow fiber and the excess solution is taken out into the inside of the hollow fiber.

However, even if the housing is damaged and the hollow fiber is still in a usable state, there is a problem that the module must be discarded.

ルである。(Means for Solving the Problem) The hollow fiber membrane module of the present invention includes a liquid inlet or outlet, a first barrel provided at the lower end of the liquid inlet or outlet, and a first barrel. One of a pair of heads, which are provided so as to be connected to each other and have a second body portion whose diameter is larger than that of the first body portion, is integrated with one end of a cylindrical body having an outlet or an inlet for liquid. The housing is attached and the other head is detachably attached to the other end of the cylindrical body, and a large number of hollow fiber membranes are converged and fixed in a state where both ends are open. It is composed of hollow fiber membrane elements connected to each other by a supporting means, and both focusing and fixing portions of the hollow fiber membrane elements are configured to be liquid-tightly inserted into and removed from the first barrel portion provided in the pair of heads. It is a characteristic hollow fiber membrane module.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a hollow fiber membrane module of the present invention, which is composed of a housing A and a hollow fiber membrane element B housed in the housing in a replaceable manner. The housing A is a cylindrical body 1 made of metal such as stainless steel having an outlet or inlet 5 for liquid,
It comprises a head 2 integrally welded to one end thereof and a head 3 detachably attached to the other end of the cylindrical body. The head 2 has an end plate 6 having a liquid inlet or outlet 4 at the top.
Has a first body portion 7 at a lower end thereof and a second body portion 8 connected to the first body portion and having a diameter larger than that of the body portion and having the same diameter as the cylindrical body 1. .

As the cylindrical body 1, a commercially available metal pipe or a pipe formed by molding a thin plate into a cylindrical shape is used. In order to reduce the weight, it is usually preferable to use a pipe formed by cylindrically forming a thin plate having a thickness of 0.6 to 1.2 mm. A pair of head 2 commercially available stainless steel mirror plates may be used, but since the commercially available mirror plate is thick and heavy, it is preferable to process a thin plate having a thickness of 2 to 4.2 mm to reduce the weight. A liquid inlet or outlet 4 is provided at the top of the head plate forming the head, and 3 to 10 cm is provided at the end.
A first body portion 7 having a length of 1 to 10 cm and a second body portion 8 connected to the first body portion 7 and having a length of 1 to 10 cm, which has a diameter larger than that of the first body portion. ing. The outer shape of the second body portion 7 is the cylindrical body 1.
It has the same dimensions as the outer diameter of.

The shape must be retained so that it can be inserted into and removed from the housing. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, for example, a large number of hollow fibers 11 are housed inside a porous cylindrical body 10 made of plastic or the like, and the hollow fibers are bundled and fixed with a resin 12 such as polyurethane with both ends open. ing. At least one O-ring groove 13 is provided on the outer peripheral walls of both ends of the porous cylindrical body 10. FIG. 1 shows a sectional view in which the hollow fiber membrane element B shown in FIG. 2 is housed in a housing A. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 14 is an O-ring housed in the O-ring groove 13. FIG. 3 shows another example of the hollow fiber membrane module. Instead of the above-mentioned porous cylindrical body, a plurality of pillars 15 are embedded between the hollow fiber converging and fixing portions 12 in parallel with the hollow fibers 11 to form a hollow fiber membrane element. It keeps its shape.
In the system in which the shape of the hollow fiber membrane element is held by a plurality of columns 15 as shown in FIG. 3, it is necessary to provide an O-ring groove 13 on the outer peripheral wall of the hollow fiber focusing and fixing portion 12.

Reference numeral 21 is a bracket for attaching the hollow fiber membrane module to the machine base 21. In the hollow fiber membrane element B, after removing the head 3 attached to the lower end opening of the cylindrical body 1, the hollow fiber membrane element is inserted into the cylindrical body from the lower end opening of the cylindrical body 1 to form an O-ring of the hollow fiber membrane element. The mounting portion is fitted into the first body portion 7 modularized in the head 2. Then, the head 3 is fitted so that the O-ring mounting portion of the hollow fiber membrane element is positioned inside the first body portion 7 of the head, and then the cylindrical body 1 and the head 3 are liquid-tightly connected by a V coupling. . When producing purified water with the hollow fiber membrane module, a water inlet pipe (not shown) is connected to the inlet provided at the top of the head 3 to remove the head 2.
A valve (not shown) is connected to the outlet 4 provided in the.
Then, a water outlet pipe (not shown) is connected to the water outlet 5 provided in the cylindrical body 1 and the valve is closed to pass water by the internal pressure total overpressure method. When the flow rate of water decreases, the valve is intermittently opened to flush it, whereby the contaminants attached to the inner surface of the hollow fiber membrane can be removed.
