工程と三つの工程が必要であり、塗装工程が複雑となり
かつ長くなる。更に骨材散布工程において、骨材に同伴
した空気がその上の保護層に微細気泡として閉じ込めら
れ、また骨材は保護塗料や接着剤と濡れ性が悪くしかも
骨材相互の重なり部分が生じ、建築基板との付着力が充
分でない。特に建築基板表面に凹凸柄が付されている場
合には、凹凸柄の斜面には骨材が付着しにくゝ均一な骨
材の散布が困難である。上記塗装方法に代えて骨材を合
成樹脂ビヒクルに混合した塗料が提供されている(例え
ば特開平5−200354号)。上記塗料によれば骨材
の散布工程、保護層塗布形成工程は省略出来、塗装工程
は上記塗料を塗装する一工程のみとなる。

しては種々な径を有するものや、種々の着色が施されて
いるものが選択出来、したがって本発明の塗料では多彩
な意匠性を有する塗膜が得られる。更に建築基板表面の
ヘヤークラック等の欠陥は塗膜中の骨材によって隠蔽さ
れ目立たなく仕上げることが出来る。
