(Prior Art) Conventionally, when a plurality of manuscripts are combined to make one original film, the unnecessary parts of the first manuscript are masked with a mask film and only the necessary parts are printed on a silver halide photographic film, A method is used in which an exposed portion and an unexposed portion are formed on a silver salt photographic film, and then an image of another original is exposed and printed on the unexposed portion. Therefore, the greater the number of originals to be combined, the greater the corresponding number of steps.

When printing the second and subsequent times, it is necessary to mask the exposed portion (image portion) of the silver salt photographic film that was first printed and expose only the unexposed portion of the silver salt photographic film. A pair of mask films that are in a negative-both relationship with each other are required for the composition.

In order to form a pair of mask films having a negative-positive relationship accurately from such a mask film, first, as shown in FIG. 3, a window opening 7 is formed in a range necessary for the mask film. The window opening 7 is formed by cutting a required portion of the mask film with the light-shielding film layer 3 using a cutter and peeling off the portion. Another mask film having a negative-positive relationship with each other, which is precisely aligned with this mask film, is obtained by contact-exposing a mask film having the window opening 7 as an original to a silver halide photographic film.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) In the conventional method as described above, in order to make a pair of mask films having a negative-positive relationship, many silver salt photographic films are used and exposed each time. And the economic disadvantage of consuming large amounts of expensive silver halide photographic film.

Of course, it is possible to obtain a pair of negative-positive mask films without consuming the silver halide photographic film by sticking the light-shielding film cut out from the first mask film to another transparent film. However, in this case, in practice, it is almost impossible to accurately bond the cut mask film to another translucent film in a negative-positive relationship, which is not practical.

A light-shielding film layer 3 is laminated on the peelable adhesive layer 2. The light-shielding film layer 3 may be made of any material and hue as long as it can substantially block the light source light used in the plate making process. Generally, a polyester film having a thickness of about 10 to 100 μm, which is colored in orange or red as used conventionally, is generally used.

The constitution up to this point is the same as that of the conventionally known mask film, and the conventionally known mask film can be used in the present invention as it is. As the peelable adhesive of the peelable adhesive layer 2, an acrylic emulsion-based heat-sensitive material is used. An adhesive, a heat-sensitive adhesive in which styrene / butadiene rubber is mixed with a proper amount of wax and a solvent, or a butyl rubber is used in which a proper amount of wax and a solvent is mixed, and the base 1 is coated with this peelable adhesive and dried. It can be formed by cooling, and laminating the light-shielding film layer 3 on the peelable adhesive layer 2.

The main feature of the transfer mask film 10 of the present invention is that a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 4 is provided on the surface of this conventional mask film. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 4 can be formed from any of various conventionally known pressure-sensitive adhesives, and examples thereof include rubber-based resins such as polyisobutylene rubber, polyisoprene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, butadiene acrylonitrile rubber, and acrylic acid esters. -Based resin, methacrylic acid ester-based resin, polyacetic acid ester-based resin, polyvinyl chloride /
Any resin based on vinyl acetate copolymer resin, polystyrene based resin, polyester based resin, polyamide based resin, polychlorinated olefin based resin, polyvinyl butyral based resin, etc. In addition, suitable tackifiers such as rosin, dammar, partially hydrogenated rosin, ester rosin, polyterpene resin, terpene modified product, petroleum resin, cyclopentadiene resin, xylene resin, coumarone-indene resin, etc. It can be used by adding an appropriate amount, and if necessary, a softening agent, a filler, an antiaging agent and the like.

Since such a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 4 may be surface-adhesive in a normal state, it is preferable to bond a normal release paper 5 to the surface thereof in order to eliminate the inconvenience. However, if the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 is formed of a resin binder by microcapsulating these pressure-sensitive adhesives using a non-sticky wall material at room temperature, it is non-adhesive in a normal state. The release paper 5 as described above is not always necessary.

(Operation / Effect) A method of using the transfer mask film 10 of the present invention will be described. First, the peeling paper 5 is peeled or notched with a cutter to make notches 8 and 8 ′, the peeling paper 5 ′ at the cut portion is peeled and removed, and the exposed adhesive surface is covered with another transparent film 6, for example, the thickness. When the transfer mask film 10 is peeled off after applying a suitable pressure on the polyester film 6 of about 10 to 100 μm, the light-shielding film 3 ′ surrounded by the notches 8 and 8 ′ is peeled from the mask film 10. And transferred to the transparent film 6 to form the window opening 7 on the mask film 10, while the window opening 7 is formed on the transparent film 6.
A light-shielding portion 3'accurately aligned with is provided.
