Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a small inexpensive induction motor usable in many ways with a small noise, by inserting by press a steel ring having three or more outer relief parts into a bearing bore part made of die-cast aluminum. CONSTITUTION:A steel ring 10 having six relief parts 11 press inserted into bearing bores 8 and 9 put at an aluminum die-cast housing 6 and an engine bracket 7. The steel ring 10 is supported at only six points out of these six relief parts 11, and the steel ring 10 is fixed in a body with the housing 6 and the end bracket 7. Then, the induction motor can be produced at low cost in a fully automated die-cast step. 【従来の技術】小形インダクションモータは構造が堅牢

多くの特徴を有しており各種民生機器の駆動用として広
く使用されてきた。しかしながらさらに低価格化,低騒
音化への市場ニーズが強くこうしたニーズに応えるため
放熱性が優れまた音の減衰が比較的大きいアルミニゥム
をフレームに使用することが行われてきた。しかしなが
ら従来行われて来たアルミニゥム製フレームにおいては
高価であるだけでなく騒音が大きいという欠点があっ
た。即ち従来のアルミニゥム製フレームではベアリング
ボア部において組立時にボールベアリング外周との隙間
が僅少となる様に設定しても、アルミニゥムの熱膨張係
数が鉄系材料のほぼ2倍有るため、運転中の温度上昇に
よってその隙間が拡大し騒音が大きくなると共にベアリ
ングボアが摩耗し寿命が短い欠点があった。一方この様
な欠点を避けるために鉄製リングをベアリングボア部に
ダイカスト時に一体にインサート鋳造する方法が行われ
て来た。しかしながらこの方法はダイカスト時にインサ
ートを型にセットする必要があり無人ダイカスト化が難
しく高価となる欠点が有った。さらにこの方法はダイカ
スト時に型内でインサートが湯の圧力で動かぬよう型に
ピンを設けて押える必要が有り、ダイカストの外観に鉄
製インサートに達っするピン穴が残ることが避けられな
いため、意匠的欠点となるだけでなく空気中の水分がこ
の穴から鉄製インサートに達っし発錆させる問題が有る
ため、用途範囲が限定される大きな欠点を有していた。

逃げを設けベアリングボア部との圧入接触が複数箇所で
行われる様にしたことを特徴とする小形インダクション
モータ。
