直接押圧するとともに、凸状物を介して半割りスリーブ
を外側から内側に押圧するので、半割りスリーブが外側
に膨らんで、箱断面が円形に変形することがない。従っ
て、バンドで半割りスリーブを締結しても、半割りスリ
ーブの合わせ目のパッキングは十分に機能を果たし、水
密性、気密性を確保することができる。なお、横断面が
略四角形であるスリーブに本発明は適用されるが、略四
角形の意味は、バンド締結した際に、バンドがスリーブ
の四隅に押圧を与え、半割りスリーブの略中央部には押
圧を与えないため、半割りスリーブが外側に膨らむよう
な形状ということである。
