【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】溶接面が水平になるように保持された被溶
接物の溶接線を下向き姿勢で自動溶接する溶接装置にお
いて、保距脚及び溶接対象材の垂直面までの距離を決め
るセト治具により溶接面の上方に被溶接物の溶接線と平
行に一直線に延設された案内レール、 該案内レールを鉛直方向に移動させる昇降手段、 該昇降手段を上記案内レールの延設方向と水平面内で直
交する方向に移動させる手段、 上記案内レールに沿って走行し、上記一定の距離だけ下
方に溶接点がくるように支持された溶接トーチとを有す
る溶接台車、 該溶接台車を上記案内レールに沿って移動させる移動手
段よりなる溶接装置ならびに溶材供給ラインに、自重に
よる下向きの力を上まわる上向きの付勢力を有する吊上
げ手段を設けたことを特徴とする溶接装置。
