DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Industrial field of use] The present invention has a yarn end catching device for catching the yarn end of a weft yarn which has been weft-inserted by using a catch yarn arranged on the opposite weft insertion side of a warp row. The present invention also relates to a fluid jet loom having a miss yarn pulling and removing device for pulling and removing the miss yarn when a weft insertion error occurs during weaving.

For example, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 39-29654, the yarn end catching device has a plurality of threads of catching yarns arranged on the reverse weft insertion side (opposite to the weft insertion nozzle) of the warp row on the cloth fell side. After passing through the twister arranged in one direction, pulling to the front of the loom (woven fabric side), while applying the opening and closing movement to the captured yarn between the twister and the heddle, at approximately the same timing as the warp row. When the weft thread ejected from the weft insertion nozzle passes through the opening of the warp thread and passes through the opening of the capture thread, weft insertion is completed, and then the capture thread is closed together with the warp and the above weft insertion is performed. This is captured by weaving the yarn end of the weft and twisting it further to pick up the yarn end.

Further, the above-mentioned miss yarn traction removing device is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-197351
It is used in a miss yarn removal processing device as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. This miss yarn removal processing device abnormally stops the loom when a weft insertion error occurs during weaving, and then reverses the miss yarn to the vicinity of the maximum opening phase angle of the warp just before the miss yarn is beaten. Is exposed to the front of the weaving machine, the exposed missed yarn is pulled out by a traction device and removed, and then the main shaft of the loom is restarted by adjusting it to a predetermined phase angle. To perform.

Further, the applicant of the present application has previously proposed the following miss yarn removal processing device (Japanese Patent Application No. 60-141570). In the case of the abnormal stop due to a weft insertion error, this device stops without cutting the weft yarn connected to the cloth fell from the fluid injection nozzle, then exposes the miss yarn to the cloth fell, and then two picks from the weft insertion nozzle. Inject weft yarns that exceed. Therefore, the weft yarn is inverted from the cloth fell while being connected to the miss yarn, and is formed into a U shape between the weft yarn and the fluid injection nozzle and inserted into the openings of the warp yarn and the catch yarn. The U-shaped top is pulled by a miss yarn pulling / removing device arranged further on the opposite weft insertion side of the catch yarn. Due to this traction, the miss yarn driven into the cloth fell is peeled off from the above-mentioned reversal portion and is removed, and as a result, the above-mentioned inserted weft yarn is stretched straight between the weft insertion nozzle and the miss yarn pulling device. To do. If the spread weft yarn is cut near the weft insertion nozzle, the inserted weft yarn is pulled along with the miss yarn and is removed. This device has an excellent function of peeling the miss yarn by pulling it from the reversing portion.

By the way, in a fluid jet loom equipped with such a yarn end catching device and a miss yarn pulling and removing device, the weaving machine is abnormal even though weft insertion is normally performed due to a detection error of the weft yarn detector. If a so-called idle stop, which is a stop, occurs, there is a problem that the catching yarn is cut after restarting.

When the idle stop occurs, the miss yarn removing processing device automatically operates to remove the weft yarn (pseudo miss yarn), but at this time, the pseudo miss yarn is properly wefted. The yarn end is woven into the catching yarn and is enthusiastic, which makes it difficult to cause separation. Therefore, the pseudo miss yarn may be connected to the miss yarn pulling and removing device while being held by the catching yarn. When the loom is restarted in this state, the weft yarn is removed by the twisting motion of the twisting device. It is pulled out from the yarn and wound around the catching yarn to form a lump, and if the catching yarn is pulled until the lump cannot pass through the twister, it will eventually break.

When the weaving machine is operating normally, when the weft insertion timing approaches in the retreat stroke of the reed 7, the weft insertion pump 17 moves to the discharge stroke, water injection from the weft insertion nozzle 20 starts, and the weft insertion timing comes. At the same time, the gripper 41 releases the weft W. As a result, one pick's worth of weft yarn stored in the drum 31 of the weft length measuring and storing device 30 is ejected from the weft insertion nozzle 20 and passes through the openings of the warp yarn Y and the catch yarn 51. Gripper here
41 grips the weft and brakes, and at the same time as or slightly before this, the discharge stroke of the weft insertion pump 17 ends, and the weft insertion ends. In this process, the reed 7 passes through the warp maximum opening phase of 180 ° and moves forward, and at 330 ° on the way, the weft detector 48 contacts the weft and detects the presence of the yarn. The reed 7 continues to advance and drives the weft yarn into the cloth fell F at 0 °, and immediately after that, at 10 °, the cutting cutter 45 operates to separate the weft yarn connected to the weft insertion nozzle 20. .

On the other hand, the catching yarn 51 is closed slightly prior to beating, and weaves in the yarn end of the weft yarn that has been wefted in, and further tightly captures this yarn end by the twisting motion, and as described above, it is faster than the traveling speed of the woven cloth C. It is towed at a high speed. As a result, tension is applied to the weft thread and the thread end cutter 47
Operates to separate the captured thread end from the weft matrix.

If a weft insertion error occurs during the above operation, the above 330 °
At, the weft detector 48 detects the absence of the yarn, and the control device of the loom receives the detection signal and operates the cut preventing means 46 for a predetermined time. As a result, the cutting movement of the cutting cutter 45 is blocked. Further, the shutoff valve 25 is closed to stop the weft insertion function, and the stop phase angle is set to 300 ° to give an instruction to stop the main motor 2 abnormally. As a result, the reed 7 beats the miss yarn relating to the weft insertion error and then stops at the next 300 ° past the 180 ° phase position [Fig. 2 (A)]. Reference numeral M in the figure indicates a miss yarn, which is connected to the weft insertion nozzle 20 from the cloth fell F by the above cut prevention. Then, the following operations are sequentially performed according to the instruction from the control device.

(2) The electromagnetic valve 65 of the miss yarn pulling / removing device 60 is opened to inject air from the air nozzle 64, and the jet pump action by this causes the suction head 61 to suck the outside air.
Next, the shutoff valve 25 of the water supply path 10 is opened, and the three-way solenoid valve 22 is switched to the pressure air source 8 side for a predetermined time. As a result, the stored water in the sub-tank 21 is pressure-fed to the feed pipe line 16 and the weft insertion nozzle.

At this time (180 °), since the gripper 41 is opened, the stored weft yarns exceeding the two picks are ejected, and the weft yarns are inserted into the openings of the warp yarn Y and the catching yarn 51 so as to have a U shape, and the top portion thereof is inserted. Is sucked into the suction head 61 and pulled [FIG. 2 (C)]. Therefore, the folded portion A of the miss yarn M is successively peeled off from the cloth fell F by the pulling action described above and removed, and when this removal is completed, the above-mentioned inserted weft yarn is separated from the weft insertion nozzle 20 and the suction head 61. Spread straight between [Fig. 2 (D)].

As described above, the above operation is automatically performed even when the weft detector 48 has made a detection error and the idle stop is performed. FIG. 3 shows the operation mode in this case, and the symbols (A) to (H) showing the sequence of this mode correspond to the same symbols (A) to (H) in FIG.

That is, when a weft thread that has been normally inserted is sent from the weft thread detector 48 due to a contact failure or the like to the weft thread detector 48, the control device issues the abnormal stop instruction to issue the pseudo missed thread. The M'is stopped at the phase of 300 ° while being connected to the cloth fell [Fig. 3 (A)]. In this case, the yarn end of the false miss yarn is caught by the catching yarn 51.

After that, the reverse rotation is performed up to 180 ° to expose the pseudo miss yarn M'to the cloth fell [Fig. 3 (B)], a suction airflow is generated in the suction head 61, and then the weft yarn accumulated on the drum 31 is U-shaped. Insert it in the shape of a letter and pull the folded portion A from the cloth fell by pulling it [Fig. 3 (C)]. Therefore, the inserted weft is spread between the weft insertion nozzle 20 and the suction head 61. If the false miss yarn M'is not peeled off from the catching yarn 51 in this process, it is drawn into the suction head 61 while being anchored to the catching yarn [Fig. 3 (D)]. After that, the inserted weft is separated [Fig. 3 (E)], the insertion weft is exposed to the front of the cloth and removed by suction [Fig. 3 (F)], and the positioning to the restart position 300 [Fig. 3 ( G)], and the steps of restart preparation and restart [Fig. 3 (H)] proceed while the pseudo miss yarn M'is anchored. When the catching yarn 51 after being restarted is pulled forward as described above, the above-mentioned anchoring portion also moves forward, and as shown by the chain double-dashed line in FIG. Wa is exposed to the edge of the razor-shaped thread cutter 70 and is cut there.

In this embodiment, since the razor type thread cutter 70 is used, the structure can be made extremely simple. In this case, if the miss yarn pulling / removing device 60 is operated for a predetermined time after restarting, the pseudo miss yarn that has been tethered will come into contact with the cutting edge portion while tension is being applied, thus causing a cut error. No worries.
