給紙する給紙装置において、前記給紙トレイを給紙部に
向かって斜め下向き状にて着脱自在に装着可能に構成
し、給紙部における前記給紙ローラを給紙トレイ上の積
層用紙の表面側下部寄り部位に配置する一方、前記給紙
ローラが装着された回転駆動軸には、当該給紙ローラに
おける平坦周面と前記積層された用紙の表面との接触を
阻止し、且つ給紙ローラにおける円周面との圧接を許容
するにように上下長手の押え面が形成された紙押え体
を、回転自在に遊嵌装着したことを特徴とする給紙装
置。
