In the connecting device of the first conventional example, a ring whose inner diameter is larger than that of the bellows tube and whose diameter can be reduced is movably mounted inside the connecting hole, and a tapered surface is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the connecting hole. When the bellows tube is connected, the bellows tube is inserted into the connection hole until it abuts against the contact surface. At this time, the bellows tube penetrates the nut and the ring. next,
Tighten the nut and move the ring to the contact surface side. Then, the diameter of the ring is reduced by the tapered surface, and the ring is fitted into the valley portion of the bellows tube. Therefore, when the nut is further tightened, the nut pushes the bellows tube through the ring and crushes 2-3 peaks of the bellows tube between the ring and the contact surface. This connects the bellows tube.

In this connection device, since the inner diameter of the ring is larger than that of the bellows tube when the bellows tube is inserted into the connection hole, the bellows tube can be easily inserted into the connection hole. Moreover, the bellows tube can be connected simply by tightening the nut, and there is no need to handle the pair of retainers. Therefore, the bellows tube can be easily connected.

Further, in the connecting device of the second conventional example, instead of the ring of the first conventional example, a ring having an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the peak portion of the bellows tube and larger than the outer diameter of the valley portion is used. The bellows tube can be expanded and contracted. Therefore, when the bellows tube is inserted into the connection hole, the crest portion of the bellows tube abuts on the inner peripheral surface of the ring, but the ring expands in diameter as the bellows tube is inserted and allows the insertion. After the tip end surface of the bellows tube hits the contact surface, connection is performed in the same manner as in the first conventional example.

Further, in the connecting device of the third conventional example, the bellows tube is mounted inside the connection hole in a state of being separated from each other so that the bellows tube can be inserted between the pair of retainers. Is inserted into the connection hole, the elastic member moves the pair of retainers close to each other so as to be attached to the outer periphery of the bellows tube. Other points are similar to those of the former two examples.

In the second conventional example, the inner diameter of the ring is smaller than the peak of the bellows tube. Therefore, once the bellows tube is inserted into the connection hole, the bellows tube does not come out. However, when inserting the bellows tube into the connection hole, the bellows tube must be inserted while forcibly expanding the diameter of the ring, and a great amount of force is required to insert the bellows tube. Therefore, the operator's fatigue increases.

In the third conventional example, the bellows tube can be easily inserted into the connection hole, and at the same time, it can be prevented from coming out of the connection hole. However, another conventional example is 1
While one ring is used, a pair of retainers is used, and an elastic member is used to attach them to the bellows tube inserted into the connection hole. For this reason, there is a problem that the number of parts increases, the labor of assembly increases, and the manufacturing cost increases.

As a connecting device for easily connecting the bellows tube, there has been previously proposed a device which allows the bellows tube to be connected by simply inserting it into the connection hole (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. Hei 5). -See Japanese Patent No. 164280). However, in the connecting device according to the above proposal, the tip portion of the bellows tube is not crushed, which is basically different from the invention of this application in this respect. And as a result of this,
In the above conventional example and the present invention, the airtightness between the bellows tube and the connection hole is secured by pressing the tip end surface of the bellows tube against the contact surface until the bellows tube is crushed. In the proposed connection device, the space between the inner peripheral surface of the connection hole and the outer periphery of the bellows tube is made airtight by the sealing material, and there is a possibility that the sealing material deteriorates with time and the airtightness deteriorates.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a connection hole into which a bellows tube is inserted, and the tip of the bellows tube abuts inside the connection hole. A device main body having a contact portion formed therein, and screwed to the device main body so as to move along the connection hole,
A pressing member that is relatively movably penetrated by the bellows tube and an inside diameter of the connection hole that is larger than the outside diameter of the bellows tube are arranged inside the connection hole, and the bellows tube is inserted into the connection hole. A pressing member formed at the tip of the pressing member, the engaging member being fitted into the bellows tube and having a diameter-reducing engagement member that fits into the valley portion of the bellows tube. In the connection device for a bellows tube, the tip portion of the bellows tube located between the engaging member and the abutting portion is crushed by pressing the bellows tube against the abutting portion by pressing with the above. Inside the connection hole, a supporting member having a tubular shape, into which the bellows tube is inserted, is provided movably toward the contact portion side, and one end inner circumference located on the contact portion side of the support member, When the bellows tube is inserted into the support part, the support part is abutted against the bellows tube. Is provided, and the engagement member is fitted to the outer periphery of the other end of the support member in a state where the diameter of the engagement member is expanded and relatively movable, and the support member is attached to the inner peripheral surface of the connection hole. By preventing the fitted engaging member from moving to the contact portion side, a locking portion is formed to separate the engaging member from the support member when the support member moves to the contact portion side. It has a feature.

In this case, for a reason to be described later, a small convex portion is formed on the edge of the outer periphery of the support member into which the engaging member is fitted so as to expand and ride over when the engaging member separates from the supporting member. Is preferably formed. Further, it is desirable that the pressing portion of the pressing member be formed in a tapered surface whose diameter increases toward the front side in the pressing direction. Further, it is desirable to form a tubular portion on the front side of the pushing portion in the pushing direction to accommodate the engaging member fitted in the bellows tube and prevent the diameter expansion thereof.

When connecting the bellows tube, the bellows tube is inserted into the connection hole from the opening at one end thereof. The inserted bellows tube
The support member is abutted against the contact portion of the support member, and the support member is moved to the contact portion side. At this time, the engagement member fitted to the outer periphery of the support member is separated from the support member because the engagement portion prevents the movement of the engagement member toward the contact portion. Then, the engagement member contracts in diameter and fits into the valley of the bellows tube. After that, when the pressing member is screwed in, the pressing member presses the bellows tube through the engaging member. As a result, the tip portion of the bellows tube located between the engaging member and the contact portion is crushed, and the bellows tube is connected.

When a small convex portion is formed on the supporting member, the diameter of the engaging member is once enlarged so as to get over the small convex portion immediately before the engaging member is disengaged from the supporting member. As a result, the insertion resistance of the bellows tube increases. The insertion resistance decreases after the engagement member is disengaged from the support member. It is possible to detect that the engagement member is disengaged from the support member by the increase and decrease of the insertion resistance.

When the pressing portion of the pressing member is formed as a tapered surface, the tapered surface presses the engaging member so as to reduce its diameter. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the engaging member from coming off the bellows tube when the pressing member presses the engaging member. In particular, when the tubular portion that accommodates the engaging member is formed on the front side of the pushing portion, the tubular portion reliably prevents the diameter of the engaging member from expanding. Therefore, it is possible to more reliably prevent the engagement member from coming off the bellows tube.

A support member 7 is slidably mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the connection hole 1a between the pressing member 4 and the step surface 1b. The support member 7 has a tubular shape, and the inner diameter thereof is larger than the outer diameter of the bellows tube 3A. An annular protruding portion (abutting portion) 7a is formed on the left end portion of the inner peripheral surface of the support member 7. The inner diameter of the annular protruding portion 7a is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the packing 2 and slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the bellows tube 3A. A small diameter portion 7b is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the right end portion of the support member 7. An engagement member 8 is attached to the small diameter portion 7b. The engagement member 8 has a ring shape or a C shape, and can be expanded / contracted by its own elasticity. However, the engagement member 8 has rigidity such that the wire diameter does not change. Engaging member 8
Is attached to the small diameter portion 7b in an expanded state. Moreover, the engaging member 8 is movably attached to the small diameter portion 7b, and can be disengaged from the small diameter portion 7b by moving to the right. However, an annular small convex portion 7c is formed on the right end edge of the small diameter portion 7b, and the small convex portion 7c prevents the engaging member 8 from being unintentionally disengaged from the small diameter portion 7b.

An annular groove 1e is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the connection hole 1a facing the engaging member 8. This annular groove 1
When the engaging member 8 abuts on the left side surface (locking portion) 1f of e, the engaging member 8 is prevented from moving to the left. Therefore, when the support member 7 moves to the left, the engagement member 8 moves to the right relative to the support member 7 and disengages from the support member 7. When the engaging member 8 is disengaged from the support member 7, the engaging member 8 contracts in diameter and fits into the valley portion 3a of the bellows tube 3A.
In this case, when the engagement member 8 is disengaged from the support member 7, the distance from the locking portion 1f to the annular protruding portion 7a is appropriately set, so that at least one mountain from the tip of the bellows tube 3A (this implementation). In the example, it is 2 mountains) Valley 3a away
It is designed to fit in. The wire diameter of the engaged engaging member 8 is set so that almost half of the outer peripheral side thereof protrudes from the mountain portion 3b to the outside. In this embodiment, the engaging member 8 is the right side surface 1g of the annular groove 1e.
When you hit, you cannot move further to the right.

Next, the flexible tube 3 is inserted into the connection hole 1a through the pressing member 4. When the peak portion 3b located at the most tip end of the bellows tube 3A hits the annular projecting portion 7a of the support member 7, the support member 7 moves to the step surface 1b side (left side) as the bellows tube 3A is inserted. At this time, since the engaging member 8 abuts on the left side surface (locking portion) 1f of the annular groove 1e, it moves to the right relative to the supporting member 7 and is separated from the supporting member 7. The engaging member 8 expands in diameter to get over the small convex portion 7c immediately before it is disengaged. Therefore, the insertion resistance of the bellows tube 3A increases. When the engaging member 8 separates from the supporting member 7, the insertion resistance decreases. By increasing or decreasing the insertion resistance of the bellows tube 3A, it is possible to detect that the engagement member 8 is separated from the support member 7.

When the engaging member 8 is disengaged from the supporting member 7, the engaging member 8 contracts due to its own elasticity and fits into the valley portion 3b of the bellows tube 3A. At this time, the engaging member 8 is the bellows tube 3A.
Impact sound is generated by hitting against. This impact sound can also detect that the engaging member 3A is detached from the support member 7 and fitted into the bellows tube 3A.
When the engaging member 8 is fitted in the bellows tube 3A, when the bellows tube 3A is pulled out, the engaging member 8 abuts on the tapered surface 4c of the pressing member 4 and can move further to the right. Disappear. Therefore, the bellows tube 3A
Will never come out. The engaging member 8 is the bellows tube 3A.
The insertion of the bellows tube 3A may be stopped when the bellows tube 3A is fitted in, or the bellows tube 3A may be inserted until the tip of the bellows tube 3A abuts on the packing 2 as shown in FIG.

Next, the spacer 5 is removed. in this case,
Since the spacer 5 has a C-shape and can be expanded in diameter, it can be easily removed from the cutout portion in the radial direction by expanding the cutout portion. Then, the pressing member 4 is screwed in and moved to the left. Then, the tapered surface 4c of the pressing member 4 hits the engaging member 8 and pushes the bellows tube 3A leftward via the engaging member 8. At this time, the tapered surface 4c prevents the engagement member 8 from expanding in diameter. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the engagement member 8 from coming off from the bellows tube 3A.

When the bellows tube 3A is pushed and moves to the left, and its tip end hits the packing 2, two peaks of the bellows tube 3A located between the engaging member 8 and the packing 2 are crushed. The bellows tube 3A is airtightly connected to the connection hole 1a of the apparatus body 1. In the connected state, the large-diameter portion 4a of the pressing member 4 abuts the apparatus body 1. Further, an O-ring 9 seals between the pressing member 4 and the apparatus body 1.

As is apparent from the above description, in the connecting device A, the engaging member 8 is expanded before the bellows tube 3A is inserted, so that the bellows tube 3A can be easily inserted into the connection hole 1a. You can Moreover, after the bellows tube 3A is inserted, the engagement member 8 automatically reduces its diameter and fits into the valley portion of the bellows tube 3A, so that the bellows tube 3A does not come out from the connection hole 1a. Further, the engaging member 8 is formed as one component, and is simply fitted to the outer periphery of the tubular supporting member 7. Therefore, the number of parts can be reduced, the structure can be simplified, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
