Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a battery accommodation device of such a construction that two or more dry cells are set in series, wherein leakage of an electrolytic solution likely when dry cells are set in opposite polarization is precluded and associate damage due to contamination of the appliance which uses the dry cells is prevented. CONSTITUTION:A battery holder 1 contains a plurality of dry cells, and a cell restricting plate 5 is installed at the plus side of a contact terminal 2 of the battery holder 1 and the boundary between two cells, wherein the plate 5 is made of insulative substance and has a hollow part greater than the outside diameter of the positive electrode terminal 3 of each dry cell and smaller than the outside diameter of the negative electrode terminal 4 in such a way as facing the terminal surface of the dry cell. When dry cells are set oppositely, the plate 5 shuts the contact of the negative electrodes each other of the cells.

In the battery holder 1 shown in FIG. 2, the boundary between the dry batteries and the plus side of the contact terminal 2 of the battery holder 1 are larger than the outer diameter of the positive electrode terminal 3 of the dry battery and larger than the outer diameter of the negative electrode terminal 4. By providing a battery regulation plate 5 which is a battery regulation part made of ABS resin having a shape shown in FIG. 3 and which has been subjected to a small hole processing, when the negative electrode terminals and the positive electrode terminals of the dry batteries are alternately loaded in sequence, the battery regulation plate is formed. 5, the negative terminal 4 of the dry battery (A) 6 and the dry battery (B)
7 can be contacted with the positive electrode terminal 3, but a dry battery (B)
When 7 is reversely loaded, the battery control plate 5 prevents the negative terminals of the dry batteries from contacting each other, the device is not operated, and the reversely loaded dry battery is not charged.
No liquid leakage phenomenon occurred.
