[Prior Art] The processing liquid supplied into the processing tank evaporates from the liquid surface, the liquid surface is oxidized by air, and the temperature of the processing liquid decreases. In order to prevent these, it is conceivable to provide a lid on the treatment tank to cover the surface of the treatment liquid.

It is also conceivable to provide an opening in a part of the lid and convey the photosensitive material into the processing tank through this opening. However, in this case, a part of the lid is always open, so that there is no lid. However, evaporation of the processing liquid, air oxidation, and temperature decrease will occur.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention relates to a photographic developing device for carrying out development processing by carrying a photosensitive material by a carrying roller in a processing tank filled with a processing solution, A cover member which is provided in a state of contacting or extremely close to the liquid surface of the processing liquid at a position other than the transport path of the photosensitive material so as to cover the liquid surface, and which always shields the liquid surface directly from the outside air; Is provided so as to be movable between a state in which the surface of the processing liquid is covered and a state in which the transportation path is opened, and corresponds to the transportation path in a state where the surface of the processing liquid is covered. An opening / closing member that shuts off the liquid surface from the outside air, a spring that constantly biases the opening / closing member to a state of covering the liquid surface of the processing liquid, and a clutch that can transmit a driving force, The driving force is transmitted through the clutch. And a drive means for moving the opening / closing member against the biasing force of the spring to open the transport path, and a control means for driving the drive means during transport of the photosensitive material. There is.

[Operation] According to the present invention, when the photosensitive material is being conveyed, the control means drives the driving means to open the opening / closing member. This allows the photosensitive material to be transported into the processing liquid. In the non-conveying state of the photosensitive material, the driving of the driving means by the control means is stopped, and the opening / closing member is closed by the biasing force of the spring. As a result, the surface of the processing liquid in the processing tank can be covered, so that evaporation of the processing liquid, air oxidation, and temperature decrease can be prevented.

Further, the shafts of the opening / closing members 48A, 48B are extended to penetrate the tank body 12A, and spur gears 54, 56 are attached to the tips thereof. These spur gears 54 and 56 mesh with each other. Further, a sprocket 58 for driving force transmission is provided at the tip further than the spur gear 54.
Is fixed, and the motor is located below the developing tank 12.
The driving force of 60 is transmitted by the endless belt 61 and the spur gear 54
The opening / closing member 48A rotates against the biasing force of the tension coil spring 72. This rotational driving force is also transmitted to the opening / closing member 48B via the spur gear 56, so that the opening / closing members 48A and 48B rotate in the directions in which they are separated from each other. A gear 65 is fixed to the drive shaft of the motor 60 via a clutch 63. This clutch 63 is a clutch that can rotate only in one direction.
It is designed to rotate only in one direction by the driving force of.

As the clutch 63, a conical friction clutch or an electromagnetic clutch publicly used in each field can be appropriately used, and when the motor 60 is driven, the clutch 63 operates to transmit the driving force of the motor 60 to the gear 65. However, when the motor 60 is stopped, the clutch 63 is also stopped so that the transmission of the rotational force from the gear 65 to the motor 60 can be cut off.

Mesh with each other. A driving force transmission gear 64 is attached to the tip of the gear 66 further, and an endless belt is wound around the gear 59 provided on the rotating shaft of the opening / closing member 48A. As a result, the driving force of the motor 60 is transmitted to the opening / closing members 52A and 52B via the gears 66 and 68.

When the photosensitive material 46 is conveyed into the developing tank 12, the presence of the photosensitive material 46 nipped and guided by the guide roller 44 is detected by the detector 70. Based on this detection, the control unit 62
The opening / closing members 48A, 48B and the opening / closing members 52A, 52B are rotated through spur gears 54, 56 in the directions in which they are separated from each other against the biasing forces of the tension coil springs 72 to 76, and the liquid level for the processing tank is activated. The lid 10 is opened. This opens and closes the photosensitive material 46
It can be passed through the space between 48A and the opening / closing member 48B into the developing tank 12. The photosensitive material 46 conveyed into the developing tank 12 is nipped and conveyed between the large-diameter roller 24 and the small-diameter roller 32, the large-diameter roller 26 and the small-diameter roller 36, and is sent to the lower portion of the developing tank 12, and the large-diameter roller 28 and the small-diameter roller. When the photosensitive material 46 is no longer detected after the photosensitive material 46 has passed, the controller 62 stops driving the motor 60. This allows the opening / closing member 4 to be pressed by the urging force of the tension coil springs 72, 74, 76.
The 8A, 48B and the opening / closing members 52A, 52B rotate so as to be in contact with each other, and are in a closed state. In this state (state in which the photosensitive material is not conveyed), the developing tank 12 is closed to prevent evaporation of the developing solution, air oxidation, and temperature drop.

When the photosensitive material 46 is conveyed into the developing tank 82, the presence of the photosensitive material 46 nipped and guided by the guide roller 44 is detected by the detector 70 (see FIG. 4). Based on this detection, the control unit 62 operates the motor 60 to move the opening / closing members 86A and 86B in the direction in which they are separated from each other against the biasing force of the compression coil spring 100. In this state, the photosensitive material 46 is conveyed between the cover members 84A and 84B into the developing tank 82. The photosensitive material conveyed into the developing tank 82 has large-diameter rollers 24, 26, 28 and small-diameter rollers 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 4 as in the first embodiment.
The sheet is guided by being sandwiched between 0 and 42, and again sent through the space between the cover members 84A and 84B to the next step.

[Advantages of the Invention] As described above, the present invention is a photographic developing device for carrying out development processing by carrying a photosensitive material by a carrying roller in a processing tank filled with a processing liquid, wherein A cover member that is provided in a state of contacting or extremely close to the liquid surface of the processing liquid to cover the liquid surface, and that always shields the liquid surface directly from the outside air; and the processing liquid on the conveyance path of the photosensitive material. Is provided so as to be movable between the state of covering the liquid surface and the state of opening the transfer passage, and in the state of covering the liquid surface of the processing liquid, the liquid surface corresponding to the transfer passage is exposed to the outside air. An opening / closing member for shutting off, a spring for constantly urging the opening / closing member to cover the liquid surface of the processing liquid, and a clutch capable of transmitting a driving force, and a driving force of a driving source via the clutch. To transmit the opening / closing member to the front. The photosensitive material processing tank is provided with a driving means for moving the conveying path to an opened state against the biasing force of the spring, and a control means for driving the driving means at the time of conveying the photosensitive material. In addition to being capable of being transported inward, the surface of the processing liquid can be covered in the non-transporting state of the photosensitive material, and an excellent effect that evaporation of the processing liquid, air oxidation, and temperature decrease can be prevented can be obtained.
