Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a coupling method and structure of a metal plate that is good in appearance in addition to being inexpensive in machining cost and also high in safety. CONSTITUTION:A projection 6 of a guide plate 2 is inserted into a hole 4 of a side plate 1, and subsequently a jog part of both ends of the projection is thrust in an incline of the hole after being pressed and deformed by means of press working. With this deformation, the projection of the guide plate 2 is not protruded from the surface of the side plate 1, and the guide plate 2 and the side plate are coupled and locked tight in a state it is almost flush with the surface of the side plate 1.

ような金属板の結合方法にあっては、例えば図6に示す
方法にあっては、側板21を案内板22側に折り曲げる
ための折り代を必要とするために、その分余分な材料を
必要とし、また溶接工数がかかる上、溶接バリが出やす
くそのバリを除去することが困難である等の問題があっ
た。更に、溶接作業は加工費が高くつき、このため製品
単価が高くなるなどの不都合があった。また図8に示す
方法にあっては、溶接に比べて加工費は安価に済むもの
の、製品完成後に側板から案内板の突起部の一部が突出
(図中t参照)していたり、或いは突出している突起部
に角があるため、この遠心用送風機を使って他の製品を
組み立てる後工程で作業員が怪我をする可能性があり、
外観上も見栄えが悪い等の問題点があった。そこで本発
明は上記問題点に鑑み、加工費が安価な上に外観上見栄
えが良く、かつ安全性も高い金属板の結合方法および結
合構造を提案せんとするものである。

2の金属板の表面と略同じ面となるようにして前記第1
の金属板と第2の金属板とを接続固定するようにした金
属板の結合構造である。

り、同一ケーシング内にファンを収納する際に、この突
出分だけ羽根の高さHを高くすることができ、送風量を
増大することができる。さらに、本発明の精神または主
要な特徴から逸脱することなく他の色々な形で実施する
ことができ、そのため、前述の実施例はあらゆる点で単
なる例示に過ぎず、限定的に解釈してはならない。
