Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain from seaweed the title composition for fish feed for preventing an abnormal phenomenon in ocean culture by mixing a highly unsaturated fatty acid obtained from the lipid part of a red alga 'Fudaraku' with a saturated fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprises a liquid formed from 38-55 pts.wt. highly unsaturated fatty acid obtained from the lipid part of a red alga 'Fudaraku' and 30-50 pts.wt. fatty acid. A highly unsaturated oil or fat with advanced function, such as eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA), cannot be formed in the body of fish. Accordingly, the conventional feed for the cultivation of fish, etc., which contains no or little EPA tends to result in an abnormal growth of a fry. The composition prepared from the seaweed can prevent the abnormality when added to the feed for the cultivation of fish, etc.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present inventors have conducted extensive research to utilize unused marine biomass resources as sources thereof in accordance with the demand for feedstocks of highly unsaturated fatty acid compositions for fish feed. As a result, the red alga Fudarac, which has never been known to contain these higher polyunsaturated fatty acids, prevents an abnormal phenomenon in marine fish culture.
It has been discovered that PA exists as a component of a suitable usage form, and it has been elucidated that it is a suitable material.

The present invention has been conducted on many seaweeds, and as a result of the analysis of the organic solvent extract of the seaweed and the structural study of the extract, the lipid portion of the red alga Fudarac is a high-grade ingredient. The present invention has been accomplished by making it clear that polyunsaturated fatty acids are the main constituent fatty acids of phospholipids.

The organic solvent extraction is preferably carried out at low temperature throughout the entire process. For example, first chloroform
Extract with methanol and add saturated fatty acid to SC-C
The target product is separated and purified in a form removed by the O 2 extraction method or the like. Freeze-dry Fudaraku and directly use organic solvent (organic solvent, etc.)
After removing the protein part and the sugar part by extraction with, the step of removing and extracting saturated fatty acids and hydrocarbons from the product itself by SC-CO 2 extraction can be included. The higher polyunsaturated fatty acid composition obtained by the present invention can remove palmitic acid by about 10% as compared with the organic solvent method itself. As a result, EPA is about 40
Contains high concentrations of more than percent.

[Example] The concentration of EPA is increased by the SC-CO 2 extraction and removal operation of the organic solvent extract. The organic solvent extract is dissolved in an organic solvent such as chloroform and an organic solvent and uniformly dispersed in 10-35 mesh sea sand. Coated Extraction and removal conditions are liquefied carbon dioxide with a high-pressure pump and a circulation type extraction tank (100 m
It was sent to l) and made into a supercritical state. The inside of the extraction tank was kept at a constant pressure by a pressure regulator, and the gas flushed under atmospheric pressure was guided to the separation tank to catch the removed substance. The amount of gas used was measured with an integrating flow meter. Pressure: 25.0 MPa, temperature 313K,
CO 2 flow rate: 1.05 to 3.00 dm 3 / min extraction removal time 10 to 30 hours, extracted sample: 10 g. The amount of the substance to be extracted and removed is about 0.1 g / g, which is white. The substance that has been removed has a reduced content of palmitic acid
Higher polyunsaturated fatty acids 38-45
It is a composition composed of a lipid comprising 30 parts by weight of a saturated fatty acid and 30 parts by weight of a saturated fatty acid.
