Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a device for the hot-water supply to a bathtub whose indication of the water level in the bathtub makes the water level clearly perceived. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a water level-detecting means 25 for detecting the water level in a bathtub, a water level-setting means 8 for setting the water level in the bathtub, a plurality of indicating elements 3 corresponding to the water levels to be set by the water level-setting means 8, and a controller which compares the water level detected by the water level-detecting means 25 with the water level set by the water level-setting means 8 and controls the supply of hot water to the bathtub and also makes the plurality of indicating elements 3 indicate the water level set by the water level-setting means 8. When a setting is made in the water level-setting means 8, the controller turns on at least two of the plurality of indicating elements, each of the indicating elements differing in the lighted condition from the other and one denoting the set water level before the setting now made and the other denoting the set water level after this setting now made. Thus the controller makes it easy to distinguish the present water level from the previous water level.

2. Description of the Related Art A bathtub hot water supply apparatus having a remote control display device for water level setting, which has been used recently, has a panel portion having a bathtub pattern in the display portion of the remote controller, and a plurality of level display elements are provided in the horizontal portion of the bathtub pattern. By adopting a lighting display method in which the bathtub water level setting display position is moved up and down by pressing the water level setting key and the setting is changed, the display element is lighted accordingly. In this case, the number of water level setting keys attached to the display section of the remote controller is one in order to simplify the key operation and the number of keys for the entire remote controller. That is, the water level is set by operating only a single water level setting key.

Next, the bathtub water level setting will be described with reference to the flow chart shown in FIG. 3. First, when the water level setting key 8 is pressed as bathtub water level setting processing, the automatic bath operation is turned on in advance.
, The microcomputer 14 determines whether there is a water level setting input. The first water level setting key operation requires input (because it is assumed that the previous water level setting was made), and since the 10-second timer is not working, the current water level setting value is the current water level setting. It is stored in the memory (initial water level setting). Then 10
The timer starts operating when the second timer is set. At this time, since there is no water level UP flag at first, it proceeds to the right and determines whether the current water level setting is MIN (whether it is at the lowest position). For example, if the lighting position of the display element for initial water level setting is not the lowest, it is not MIN, so the currently set water level is 1
The rank becomes smaller, and the display element corresponding to the initial water level setting starts blinking and the display element corresponding to the currently set water level becomes lit (see FIG. 4).

Next, when the first water level setting key operation is performed (10 seconds has elapsed), the display element corresponding to the initial water level setting, which is the display element for the initial water level setting, is turned off and the water level UP flag is reset. Only the display element corresponding to the current set water level lights up.

If the second key operation is performed within 0 seconds, the display element corresponding to the initial water level setting remains blinking, the display element that is turned on by the first water level setting key operation is turned off, and the display element at the position below it is turned off. It will be turned on. Of course, the current water level setting will be one rank lower.

When the water level setting key is further operated and the currently set water level is the minimum value (MIN), the water level UP flag is set and the currently set water level is increased by one rank, and the water level is increased by one of the lowest display elements. Lights up. Then, when the operation of the water level setting key 8 is further repeated, the currently set water level is increased by one rank, and the lighting of the display element is moved up one by one. Of course, when the currently set water level is MAX, the water level UP flag is reset, and thereafter, the currently set water level decreases by one rank, and the lighting of the display element shifts downward. At the time when 10 seconds have passed since the last key operation was stopped, the initial water level setting display element is turned off and the water level UP flag is also reset. This means that there is no water level UP flag at the first key operation.

Here, as pouring into the bathtub 26,
As shown in FIG. 5, the hot water flowing out of the hot water supply heat exchanger 27 heated by the ignition of the gas burner 21 flows into the bathtub 26 through the bath pouring counter 17. The water level accumulated in the bathtub 26 is detected by a water level detecting means 25 serving as a water pressure sensor, and a predetermined amount of molten metal is poured under the control of the microcomputer 14.

As described above, the bath water heater of the present invention uses a remote controller or the like to display the water level using a plurality of display elements, and it is possible to set the original water level (initial water level) and the current water level. The display element for the current water level is turned on, and the display element for the one (the original water level setting display element) is switched to blinking, and the display element for the current water level setting is turned on to determine the correlation between the current water level and the original water level. To ensure. Further, when the water level setting is sequentially changed within a predetermined time (within 10 seconds of one key operation), the display element corresponding to the currently set water level is turned on for each operation while the original display element is kept blinking.
That is, it becomes clear how many steps the current setting position is changed. Further, after a predetermined time has elapsed (after confirmation) of the setting operation, the original blinking display is extinguished, so that useless display is eliminated.
