Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】第1筺体と、第1筺体に対して相対的に開
放可能な第2筺体と、第2筺体に取り付けられ原稿台に
載置された原稿に光を照射する光源と、第1筺体に配置
された受光センサと、受光センサを収納し第1筺体に取
り付けられたホルダと、一端が光源近傍に取り付けられ
他端が第2筺体に対し揺動可能に取り付けられた光伝達
手段と、を有し、第1筺体と第2筺体が閉じられた状態
で光源から出射された光が光伝達手段を通って受光セン
サで受光され、受光センサで検知した光量に基づいて光
源の調光を行う画像形成装置であって、前記第1筺体と
前記第2筺体を閉じた際に前記光伝達手段の端部と前記
受光センサが所定間隔を保つように、前記ホルダが前期
光伝達手段の端部を受ける突き当て面を有することを特
徴とする画像形成装置。
