A color filter 43 is formed in a portion where a pixel is formed on a transparent electrode 42 such as ITO (tin oxide-doped indium oxide) which is selectively formed on the segment substrate 51, as shown in FIG. A structure in which a transparent electrode 53 such as ITO is selectively formed after the color filter 52 is formed thereon is generally used.

Therefore, there is a problem that a higher voltage is required when driving the liquid crystal panel than when driving a liquid crystal panel without a color filter.

When a transparent electrode such as ITO is formed on the upper surface, it must be formed at a temperature lower than 200 ° C. However, since ITO has a lower resistance as it is formed at a higher temperature, ITO having a high resistance value is formed in this case, and a high voltage is required when driving the liquid crystal panel as in the above case. Was.
