は上記床葺材1よりも小さく形成してある。この接続材
4としては、第1図(a)に示すやや幅広の接続材4a
と、第2図(a)に示すやや幅狭の接続材4bとが用いら
れるものである。すなわち接続材4aは第1図(a)のよ
うに両側端部に上面が開口する断面コ字型の排水溝部10
を設けると共に各排水溝部10の外側上端に下重ね片11を
外方へ水平に延出し、各下重ね片11の先端に嵌合突片5
を延出させて設けることによって形成してある。下重ね
片11は接続材4aの上面より下側のレベルで設けるように
してある。また接続材4bは第2図(a)のように上面が
開口する断面コ字型の排水溝部10の両側上端にそれぞれ
下重ね片11を外方へ水平に延出すると共に各下重ね片11
の先端に嵌合突片5を延出させて設けることによって形
成してある。 上記のように形成される床葺材1を取り付けて屋上やバ
ルコニーなどの屋外に面する箇所に床を形成するにあた
っては、第3図に示すように、まず枠体14の上面に面板
15を張って形成される床パネル16の上に木棧などで形成
される下地材13を所定間隔で平行に取り付け、この下地
材13の上に合板などで形成される複数枚の芯板17を側端
間に所定の間隔をあけて敷き、この各芯板17の上に被せ
るように床葺材1を載置する。また芯板17の側端間には
め込むようにして接続用芯板18を取り付ける。この接続
用芯板18の上には接続材4が被せてあり、接続材4はこ
の接続用芯板18の上に接着等して予め固着しておくのが
よい。接続用芯板18としては、接続材4aを取り付ける第
1図(a)のような接続用芯板18aと、接続材4bを取り
付ける第2図(a)のような接続芯板18bとを用いるも
のであり、接続用芯板18aは床梁19等に取着した木棧等
で形成した下地材20の上に、接続用芯板18bは下地材13,
20の上にそれぞれ取り付けるようにしてある。接続用芯
板18a,18bはそれぞれ床梁19や下地材13に接着等して固
着しておくのが好ましい。そして、上記のように芯板17
の上に床葺材1を被せると、第1図及び第2図に示すよ
うに、床葺材1の端部の嵌合屈曲片2内に下側から接続
材4a,4bの嵌合突片5が被挿され、係止片9が排水溝部1
0内に差し込まれた状態で接続材4a,4bの下重ね片11の上
に床葺材1の重ね片3が重ねられる。次ぎに第1図
(a)や第2図(a)に示すように嵌合屈曲片2の基部
を嵌合突片5とともに折り曲げて、重ね片3の上側に重
