[Industrial applications]

The present invention relates to a leg support for a folding chair.

【0002】[0002]

[Prior art]

Generally, a folding chair has been devised that allows legs to be folded and is easy to carry and store. These require leg supports that support legs and connect with each other, and a large number of leg supports have been devised depending on the chair form and purpose of use.

As an example of this leg support, there is a leg support for a folding chair previously proposed by the present applicant (see Utility Model Publication No. 92-2673 of the Republic of Korea). In this leg support, a protrusion having a connecting hole is formed on a supporting disc, and two leg connecting pieces having a shaft hole on the back side of the supporting disc are formed in different directions. . Then, the extension is integrally formed on the upper side of the leg connecting piece facing in one direction, and the upper end of the leg connecting piece facing in the other direction is integrally connected with the upper end of the protrusion to form a protective portion. There is.

[Problems to be solved by the device]

According to the leg support having the above structure, by preventing the connection means between the leg support and the leg from being exposed to the outside, the leg support is expected to improve the drawback of impairing the overall appearance of the folding chair. Although the objective was achieved, the leg is designed to be rotatably supported by inserting the connecting means (bolt or rivet, etc.) into the shaft hole of the leg connecting piece so that the leg can pivot about the connecting means. When using a chair, the weight of the person is directly transmitted to the axial hole of the leg support (the hole into which the above-mentioned connecting means is inserted), where stress concentration occurs (Stress Concentration), and the above-mentioned connecting piece The peripheral portion of the shaft hole expands or breaks. Also, the life of the legs becomes shorter as the legs move more and more. Moreover, since shearing stress is likely to occur between the leg and the connecting piece, the connecting structure has a drawback that the connecting means is easily bent.

The present invention was created in order to solve various problems of the above-mentioned conventional techniques. The purpose of the present invention is to extend the weight of a person, such as a person's weight, when the chair is deployed with the legs extended. It is an object of the present invention to provide a leg support for a folding chair that can disperse the force exerted on the shaft hole and the connecting means by the weight and can obtain a folding chair with excellent durability.

Grooves (83) and (84) are formed between the connecting piece (74) and the connecting piece (64) and between the reinforcing piece (75) and the connecting piece (65), respectively.

A second reinforcing piece (75a) separately prepared is formed outside the reinforcing piece (75) integrally with the circular reinforcing piece (73). In such an embodiment, the leg (C) is connected to each groove (83) (84) by the connecting means (18) and the reinforcing pieces (74) (75) (75a) and the connecting pieces (64) (65) are connected to each other. The effect can be obtained by axially mounting it in the connecting shaft hole (9) and using it as in the above-mentioned one embodiment.

Particularly, in the embodiment of the present invention, the connecting hole formed by the eyelet (16) of the seat plate (B) is inserted into the connecting protrusion (3), and the connecting protrusion (3) is formed.
