溶解する作用を有する物質、精神分裂病治療作用を有す
る物質等が含まれており、従ってかかる低分子画分を多
量に含有するカキ肉エキスはより栄養価が高く、栄養補
助食品として有用であることを見出した。

分を分離回収する手段、たとえばポリオレフィン系、合
成高分子(ポリスルフォン系等)ポリイミドを膜素材と
する限外濾過膜による方法、ゲル濾過等に付して分子量
5000以下の低分子物質のみあるいは当該低分子画分を豊
富に含む画分を回収する。その際、本発明者らは次の新
知見を得た。すなわち、カキ肉の水抽出物中には分子量
10万以上の高分子物質と、分子量5000以下の物質の含
量が多く、分子量10万〜5000の範囲にある物質の物質
は殆ど含まれていないことを知見した。従って、当該低
分子画分の分離・回収するにあたっては、換言すればカ
キ肉水抽出物中の高分子物質(たとえば、グリコーゲ
ン、ムコ多糖類、蛋白質等)と前記低分子物質とを分離
するにあたっては、カキ肉の水抽出物中の分子量10万
以下の物質を分離・回収する手段、あるいは分子量5000
以上の物質を分離・除去しうる手段に付せば、十分その
目的が達成される。なお、カキ肉を分子量5000以下の物
質のみを分離・回収する手段に付すことによって分子量
5000以下の物質のみよりなる低分子画分を得ることが出
来る。

ることを見出した。従って、本発明に関して、低分子画
分ないしは本発明カキ肉エキスを得るためには、カキ肉
水抽出物を分子量10万以下の物質を回収しうる手段に
付すことが好ましい。
