のであり、一般的に締付トルク、20kgf・cm〜8
0kgf・cmがその範囲と考えられ、これ以上の荷重
が該シール部に加わるとトルクダウン(応力緩和)した
り過大な横流れ変形によって破壊を招いたりする。前記
自動化組付けラインは残念ながらこの範囲内の調整が難
しく、前記した不都合の理由の一つに挙げられる。

力緩和を防ぎ防振性を向上せしめると共にシール性能を
も高めたワッシャーシールとその製造方法を提供するこ
とを目的としている。

く複数重ね合わせ、受皿口部21のカシメによって一体
化せしめると、各々のメタルリング1はその作用を比例
的に向上させ、締付け荷重のバラツキに左右されない安
定的で良好なシール性能を発揮せしめる。このとき、グ
ラファイト層1aは高い締付け荷重、及び高い熱負荷を
伴っても接触部材と粘着せずシール部品の単体性を保
ち、締付け力を有効にコンパウンド層1bと金属環1a
へ伝える。
