Therefore, wooden pallets and metal pallets use thick frame materials and thick plate materials, and the pallets themselves are quite heavy. Pallets had the drawback of poor workability and lack of safety. In addition, the wooden pallet was cracked and cracked, causing damage to the cargo and injury to workers. Further, since the wooden pallet has water absorption property, bacteria such as mold and bacteria are easily generated, which is a particular problem in the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry.

The pallet made of synthetic resin extruded foam has a directional "stress" peculiar to the extruded product, which causes the pallet to warp.

い。Further, the pallets disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 58-143322, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-171342 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-171343,
When the respective constituent members are fused, there is a problem that the defective fusion of the end portions is likely to occur, and the constituent members are separated from the fused portion particularly near the fork insertion hole during repeated use. In addition, since the foams that make up each pallet component have the same density, if the foaming ratio is reduced to increase the strength in the vicinity of the fork insertion hole, for example, the entire pallet will have a high density. Therefore, the weight of the entire pallet is heavy, and the cost is high, which is not economical.

From a pallet edge portion which is made of a foamed bead molded body having a density higher than that of the foamed bead molded body and made of the same resin as the synthetic resin, and which is joined and integrated to at least a side surface of the main body portion where the fork insertion hole is provided. The gist is a synthetic resin foam pallet.

If the fork insertion hole 5 is provided integrally on at least the side surface of the pallet body 3 on which the fork insertion hole 5 is provided, and the fork insertion hole 5 is provided on two side surfaces facing each other as shown in FIG. It may be provided only on the side surface, or in addition to it, it may be provided simultaneously on the side surface where the insertion hole 5 is not provided. Further, when the insertion hole 5 is provided on all side surfaces of the pallet body portion 3 as shown in FIG. 4, the pallet edge portion 4 is preferably provided on all of those side surfaces. As a method of joining the pallet edge portion 4, since the edge portion 4 is made of a foamed bead molding of the same synthetic resin as the pallet body portion 3, the pallet edge portion 4 may be directly joined by heat fusion, or the edge portion 4 and the body portion 3 may be joined together. It is also possible to provide a predetermined convex portion and a concave portion on the joint surface and to fit them to join them.

Examples of the synthetic resin include polyethylene (low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene and high density polyethylene), polypropylene, an ethylene-propylene random copolymer, an ethylene-propylene block copolymer and the like. The pre-expanded particles made of the synthetic resin may be crosslinked or non-crosslinked. Among the above synthetic resins, especially the ethylene component is 2 to 5
The ethylene-propylene random copolymer, which is contained by weight, is preferable because it is excellent in toughness, heat resistance, flexibility and the like. Further, a weather resistant material such as carbon black, an antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber or the like can be mixed in the foamed bead molding, and in this case, a pallet excellent in weather resistance can be obtained.

When the density is less than 0.09 g / cm 3 , the compressive strength is weak and the buffering property is poor, and when the density exceeds 0.3 g / cm 3 , the weight is heavy. In the pallet of the present invention, the density of the foam bead moldings at the pallet edge is higher than that of the foam bead moldings at the pallet body. Therefore, as the density of the foamed bead molding at the edge of the pallet,
0.15 to 0.3 g / cm 3 is desirable, and the density ratio of the molded body density in the edge portion to the molded body density in the main body portion is preferably 1: 3.3. With such a configuration, the edge portion of the pallet becomes excellent in strength, and the durability against impact by a fork or the like becomes good.

The pallet body can be integrally formed by welding to form a pallet body, and then the pallet edge can be joined and integrated by heat fusion or the like on a predetermined side surface of the body.

価である利点を有する。As described above, the synthetic resin foam pallet of the present invention has sufficient strength, is lightweight, and has excellent cushioning force. Also, since the pallet edge part is joined and integrated to the side surface of the pallet body part, the upper plate and the lower plate are firmly fixed, and as a result, they are not easily peeled off. This is a remarkable effect due to the structure of the present invention having high strength. Furthermore, since the density of the foam bead moldings on the edge of the pallet can be freely adjusted with respect to the density of the foam bead moldings on the pallet body, the density of only the vicinity of the fork insertion hole can be adjusted without significantly increasing the weight of the pallet as a whole. It has the advantage that it is possible to easily obtain a pallet having a particularly high strength, and the cost is low.

く、衛生的である。Further, since the pallet of the present invention is made of foamed bead molding, there is no "stress" in a specific direction, there is no risk of warpage, deformation due to distortion does not occur, and there is a risk of cracking or cracking like a wooden pallet. Since it does not have this, the workability is good and the safety is also excellent. Moreover, since the water absorption is extremely small, there is no fear that bacteria such as mold and bacteria will occur, and it is hygienic.
