Attempts have also been made to partially apply a pressure-sensitive adhesive to a synthetic resin film to prepare a protective sheet, and to attach the protective sheet to the entire surface of the roofing material, but to cover the entire surface with the sheet. If this happens, the sheet will also bite in the overlapping part of the fitting part and the folded part, and in order to peel it off, it has a fatal drawback of putting a knife and scratching the roof material surface instead. .
Also, when the pressure-sensitive adhesive is heated in hot summer in the midsummer, the temperature of the material rises and it becomes difficult to peel off after the adhesive state, and in the middle of winter the pressure-sensitive adhesive becomes brittle and has a high modulus. Many lacked

[Function] Since the protective sheet is attached to the area of the courtyard from the bent surface of the roof part of the roof part to the concave part insertion part of the rear end folded part, the exposed surface is protected, Even if a roofer or a plasterer steps on or paint splatters from the spray of the outer wall, the surface is protected, and if this is peeled off after the completion of construction, a beautiful finished surface can be obtained. Also, the adhesive layer is 80-
Adhesion of 200 gf / 25 mm does not cause a sudden increase or decrease in adhesive strength even when exposed to direct sunlight in midsummer, does not have a high modulus even in the severe winter season, and provides adhesion to wind and rain. In addition to having it, when peeling after use, it can be peeled without leaving an adhesive on the roofing material side, and a well-balanced adhesive structure is maintained.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Referring to the drawings, an embodiment will be described below. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 is a roofing material, which has a fitting portion 2 bent in a V shape at its tip and the fitting portion 2 at the rear end. Insertion recess 4a
And a U-shaped support portion 4 which is connected to this and supports the attachment portion.
A folded-back portion 4 composed of b and b is formed, and a relatively flat courtyard portion 3 is provided therebetween. The material is, for example, a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet having a thickness of 0.4 mm and a width of about 60 mm.
235 mm in length is used. However, the shape and material of the roof material are merely general examples, and other shapes and materials are also included. Using a joint in the lateral direction of the roof material 1, the roof material 1 is fitted into the folded plate material having a cross section of Ω type from the left and right to be connected to each other.

Then, in a region extending from the vertical wall of the above-mentioned attachment 2 through the middle courtyard 3 to the insertion recess 4a of the rear-end folded-back portion 4, an adhesive layer 5b, which will be described later, and a soft transparent or translucent composite. Protective sheet 5 in which resin film base material 5a is laminated
Attach. In this region, the tip of the fitting portion 2 and the tip of the concave portion 4a into which the fitting portion 2 is inserted are not overlapped, so that the protective sheet 5 can be used even when the roof is being roofed.
Is a region that can be easily peeled while protecting the surface without being sandwiched. The base material 5a of the synthetic resin film is preferably a resin having a thickness of, for example, 60 μm and excellent weather resistance for surface protection, and examples thereof include vinyl chloride, polyethylene and polypropylene.
Further, for peeling after use, the adhesive force between the roofing material 1 and the adhesive layer 5b must exceed the adhesive force between the base material 5a and the adhesive layer 5b. Is preferably roughened to increase the adhesive force between the base material 5a and the adhesive layer 5b.

Next, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5b must be set to have characteristics so as to withstand the conditions of use as a roofing material. The material is a pressure-sensitive adhesive resin film or a pressure-sensitive adhesive. In the case of a pressure-sensitive adhesive resin film, for example, PET pressure-sensitive adhesive is used. A resin film is used, and in the case of a pressure-sensitive adhesive, for example, acrylic acid ester is used, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive force is set to 80 to 200 gf / 25 mm. That is, when the temperature rises in the hot summer of midsummer, it has a property of excellent heat resistance that does not significantly increase or decrease the adhesive strength, and
At low temperatures in severe winter, high modulus does not occur even below freezing,
It is necessary to maintain the low temperature characteristics, and for that purpose, the above PET adhesive resin film or acrylic ester is suitable (see FIG. 2). Also, the attached protective sheet 5
Has an adhesive strength that does not peel off due to the difference between wind and rain, and when peeling after use, it must be peeled off relatively easily without leaving an adhesive on the roofing material 1 side,
It is important to set the characteristics of the adhesive layer 5b by balancing the properties of each other, and for that purpose, the adhesive strength is set to 80 to 20.
A value of 0 gf / 25 mm is suitable. Adhesion is 80
If it is less than gf / 25 mm, the adhesiveness is poor and peeling occurs due to weather and rain, and if it is more than 200 gf / 25 mm, abnormal adhesion tends to occur at high or low temperatures.

The method of manufacturing the roofing material will be described. First, a transparent vinyl chloride resin having a thickness of 60 μm is used as the base material 5a, and a PET adhesive resin is laminated on the base material 5a by a coextrusion method. Or the acrylic ester is applied. The adhesive layer 5b may be laminated on the entire surface of the sheet, or may be in an oblique line shape or a lattice shape.

During this construction period, around the midsummer,
The temperature of the metal roofing material rises due to direct sunlight,
It weakens the adhesive strength, or, on the contrary, causes an abnormal increase in the adhesive strength, and conversely, during the severe winter, there are days when the temperature is below zero and the adhesive solidifies and the modulus increases. May be abnormally high. At this time, the adhesive layer 5
Since the adhesive force of b is 80 to 200 gf / 25 mm,
It retains a strong adhesive force against heat and, in particular, does not cause an abnormal increase in the adhesive force due to the high temperature caused by a conventional adhesive, and does not cause inconvenience such as difficulty in peeling afterwards. Further, it does not become brittle even at low temperatures, and the problem of high modulus can be solved by returning to normal temperature in the daytime. In addition, it has an appropriate adhesion strength to withstand wind and rain, etc., and when peeling after use, it can be peeled without leaving adhesive on the roofing material side, maintaining a well-balanced adhesive structure.

Even in the manufacturing method, the protective sheet 5 is attached to the plate-shaped roof material 1 by using the pressure-bonding rolls 8a and 8b before forming the parts such as the fitting portion 2 of the roof material 1. Since the protective sheet 5 is attached at a predetermined position, the attaching position of the protective sheet 5 to the roof material 1 is accurate, and when the roofing work is performed later, the protective sheet will bite into the overlapping portion, or conversely, the courtyard. There is no problem such as a portion where the protective sheet 5 is not attached to the portion 3.
