後方へ延びる1本の揺動部を有し、この揺動部の後端部
内側に後輪を支持する片持ち式リヤアームを備えた自動
二輪車の後輪懸架装置において、前記揺動部の後端に、
揺動部より後輪側へ突出してその内方に後輪車軸用軸受
が装着された突出部を設け、この突出部に回転自在に支
持される後輪の車軸に、外周部がある幅をもって形成さ
れて前記突出部と後輪との間に位置づけられかつ軸心部
の嵌合式連結ボス部が前記突出部内に臨む構造のフラン
ジ部材を嵌合固着させ、このフランジ部材の外周部にお
けるリヤアームとは反対側に後輪を取付けると共に、リ
ヤアーム側に制動ディスクを後輪のリムの内方であって
前記突出部の周囲に位置づけて取付け、制動キャリパを
前記制動ディスクと後輪との間にその一部を臨ませてリ
ヤアームの周囲であって平面視においてリヤアームと重
なる位置に配置し、リヤアームにおける前記制動ディス
クと対向する部位を平坦に形成したことを特徴とする自
動二輪車の後輪懸架装置。
