Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the aromatic compsn. which releases an aroma over a long period, is excellent in rise of the aroma in the end period of the duration period of the aroma and decreases residues after the end of the duration period by incorporating particles of a porous polymer impregnated with perfumes into the gelatinizing agent. CONSTITUTION:This gelatinous aromatic compd. is formed by incorporating the particles of the polymer impregnated with the perfumes in the gelatinizing agent. The polymer to be used includes polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl acetate, polymethacrylate ester, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc. The diameters of the particles of the polymer are preferably in a 0.1 to 1000mum range and the average grain diameter thereof is preferably 1 to 5000mum (0.1 to 100mum range and 1 to 50mum average particle diameter in the case of the porous polymer). The amt. of the particles of the polymer to be incorporated is preferably specified to 0.01 to 5wt.%.
