のものを揃える必要があつた。

以下、本発明の1実施例について説明する。第1図は電
気機器の一例として電磁接触器1と過電流継電器2とを
組合わせて成る電磁開閉器に端子カバー3を取付た状態
を示す。カバー3には、電磁接触器と過電流継電器の間
に相当する箇所に断面が「V」字形の溝3aが設けられ
ており、この溝より分割すれば、第2図に示すように電
磁接触器のみに適用してちようど合う大きさにすること
ができる。本実施例では分割用の溝は端面間で連続した
溝にしたが、不連続でもよい。また、溝は表裏両面に設
けられていてもよい。次にカバーの取付構造について第
4図〜第7図により説明する。電磁接触器の端子板11
を固設する絶縁台12の側面に、後述するカバーを係止
する突起12aが形成されている。一方、端子カバー3
は樹脂製可撓性板で略中央部に相対向して「L」字形に
折曲げされた舌片3b,3cが形成され、舌片3bの幅
寸法W1,W2は、前述の絶縁台12のバリヤ12b間
の寸法lに対してW1<l,W2>lの関係にあり、舌
片3cは幅寸法W2を有する。さらに曲げ寸法Sは絶縁
台の装着部12cの寸法Yより狭くしてある。カバー装
着時はカバーの両端を持つて第7図の2点鎖線のように
弾性変形して装着される。装着後はW2>lの関係でカ
バーは絶縁台の突起に係止され上方への抜け止めとな
る。又、S<Yの関係から成る弾性力によりカバーは絶
縁台を、はさみつけるためガタツキが無い。取外し時
は、装着時と同様に変形させ、係合を解除すればよい。
本実施例のカバーは舌片3bの他に絶縁台の窓部12d
を覆うための舌片3cを形成して異物混入を防止する防
塵カバーを兼用している。
