Building materials, for example, gypsum board, plywood, etc., used as face materials for building panels that form walls, floors, ceilings, etc., of dry-construction buildings, such as wall cloth and wallpaper on the interior surface. And other finishing materials are attached using glue. Therefore, in order to enhance the adhesive strength of the glue, the surface of the glue is left as it is, and a so-called waterproof paint is applied to the back surface to prevent moisture,
It is highly waterproof. Conventionally, when the above-mentioned coating material is applied, as shown in FIG. 4, the coating material is made to flow in a thin film form from a slit B having a constant width, and a work W is moved by a conveyor C at a constant speed thereunder, so-called curtain. Although the flow coater A is used, in the conventional curtain flow coater A, since the thin film-like paint D flows vertically down, the front surface E of the thin film-like paint D contacts the front surface E as the work W advances. A large amount adheres and flows down on the conveyor C. Therefore, the transport conveyor C is polluted and the surface of the work W following is polluted by the paint. Further, in the portion where the paint adheres and is soiled, there have been problems such as the adhesive strength of the above-mentioned glue being lowered, and the peeling of the finishing material.

As described above, the work coating apparatus according to the present invention comprises a paint supply tool provided with a slit in the gap of the transport conveyor, the slit crossing the transport direction of the transport conveyor at a right angle and allowing the thin film paint to flow down toward the gap. Since the thin film-like paint is provided with a paint tilting tool capable of tilting the paint toward the upstream side and the downstream side in the conveying direction by blowing air,
As a result of reducing the amount of paint adhering to the front surface and rear surface of the work, it is possible to prevent the paint from flowing down onto the transfer conveyor, prevent the transfer conveyor from being soiled, and prevent the paint from adhering to the lower surface of the subsequent work. Therefore, it is possible to prevent peeling of a finishing material such as wallpaper, which is caused by coating a work which is a surface material using a conventional curtain flow coater. In addition, since the slanted portion for preliminarily inclining the thin film-like paint flowing down from the slit toward the downstream side in the transport direction is provided at the lower end of the slit, the paint can be more reliably and stably transferred to the downstream side in the transport direction. It can be tilted toward the front, further reducing the adhesion of paint on the front surface of the work.
