The underwater mouse mask was devised as a breathing device that does not need to be held by the mouth to solve it, and it is possible to receive clear words with the microphone built in the mask and send it to the water from the underwater speaker. is there. However, since the microphone is subject to water pressure, it cannot be used unless it is put in a waterproof case or otherwise waterproofed. Therefore, the underwater microphone has a low ability to receive voice vibrations. In addition, in conventional mouse masks that have a built-in microphone, the microphone mounting position is often inside the mask, so there is no special device between the mouth and the microphone, and the sound emitted from the mouth is transmitted directly to the microphone. It was a thing.

Becomes weak. Also, the wind pressure (breath) generated at the same time as vocalization is reflected from the microphone or the inner wall of the mask to the mouth side, making it difficult to speak and muffle the sound.

The mouth side of the screen has a spherical convex surface so that the lips can be easily touched, and the screen window has a shape inclined downward to the microphone side as shown in FIG. The distance between the microphone and the screen was around 10 mm to secure a breathing space, and the mouth side of the screen was set so that the lips could be touched lightly.

る。[Operation] As shown in FIG. 4, first, since the screen and the lips of the speaker are in contact with each other, it is possible to prevent the sound from being diffused and reduce the possibility that the sound leaks to the air supply / exhaust port of 5. The sound vibration (a in Fig. 4) that passes through the screen is transmitted to the straight microphone because the depth is shorter than the sound wavelength even if the screen window is tilted. On the other hand, the wind pressure (breath) generated during vocalization is the fourth
As shown in FIG. 6B, the light passes through a screen window which is transparent and has a downward slope toward the microphone, is reflected by the microphone receiving surface, and is discharged from the lower side of the screen window through an air supply / exhaust port. Also, the exhaled breath goes to the lower side of the screen in the same way as the wind pressure generated at the same time as vocalization, so when excluding the water that has entered the mouse mask, just exhale to smoothly collect the water accumulated between the screen and the microphone. Can be excluded outside.

The screen shall be made of plastic or other material and should be lightweight and resistant to deformation so that the mask itself is not too heavy in water. The mouse mask that covers the outside is made of silicone rubber or natural rubber. As shown in Fig. 3, the mouse mask is equipped with 6 in Fig. 1 on the second stage part of the regulator normally used by the diver so that the breathing is always possible. The microphone cord extending from the microphone terminal is connected to the underwater speaker 9 as shown in FIG.

Therefore, compared to a mask that transmits sound to the underwater microphone from the mouth directly without going through a special device,
It is possible to transmit a stronger vibration to the microphone even if the voice has the same strength. In addition, the inclination of the screen window corrects the path of the wind pressure that occurs at the same time as vocalization and allows the air pressure to escape to the lower side of the mask. Also, the muffled feeling can be reduced, and it is easy to speak and the clarity of the voice is increased.
