2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 4, a conventional water level detection device for a washing machine is
The air pressure in the air chamber 2 connected to the water receiving tank 1 for storing water changes depending on the amount of water in the water receiving tank 1, and the change is linked to the water level detecting device 4 by the hose 3 connected to the air chamber 2.
The water level was being detected. As shown in FIG. 5, the internal structure of the water level detecting device 4 is such that the rubber diaphragm 5 is deformed by the air pressure transmitted through the hose 3, and the diaphragm plate 6 connected to the diaphragm 5 moves upward. The switch plate A7 is pushed up, the switch plate B8 is lowered by the snap mechanism, and the contact is turned on. Since the upper end of the diaphragm plate 6 is biased by the spring 9, the contact point can be set to ON by changing the biasing force of the spring 9 at an arbitrary air pressure, that is, a water amount. The biasing force of the spring 9 is
It is determined by the position of the cylindrical body 10 that supports the upper portion of the spring 9, and is determined by the contact position between the protruding body 11 and the cam body 12 that project laterally integrally with the cylindrical body 10. The cam body 12 has a plurality of recesses 13
Is provided to determine the water level. The water level is selected by rotating the cam body 12 via the shaft 12a. In this method, the cam body 12 is rotated via a knob provided at the tip of the shaft 12a, but the knob slips with a hand wet with water, detergent, etc. and the operability is poor, as shown in FIG. As described above, the cam body 12 is changed from the disc shape to the flat plate shape cam 13 to change the operation from the rotation to the slide to improve the operability.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, this method also has some problems. First of all
In addition, in order to slide the flat cam 13, it is necessary to have a groove-shaped opening 15 in the box 14 accommodating the water level detection device main body 4. Since water enters from this opening for cleaning, water level detection A waterproof cover 16 is required for the device 4. Secondly, since the holding plate 17 of the flat cam 13 is screwed to the box body 14 by the holding plate 17, the mounting pitch of the screw must be set larger than that of the flat cam 13, and the position of the flat cam 13 is fixed. It could not be assembled unless it was in a fixed position. Further, since the groove of the holding plate 17 held by the flat cam 13 is oriented in the screw mounting direction, the workability is poor. Thirdly, the water level detection device 4 and the knob 18 of the operation part are at the same position, and the operation part is provided only in the space for accommodating the water level detection device 4, and the best place for display and operability cannot be selected. It was

In view of the above problems, the present invention considers waterproofing of the water level detection device, and increases the degree of freedom of the mounting position of the water level detection device and its operation part, enabling installation at optimal positions for both, and operability. The purpose is to improve the mounting and holding on the box.

Action According to the above configuration, since the water level detection device and the operation part are separated, the water from the operation part does not adversely affect the water level detection device, and both the water level detection device and the operation part are optimally installed. It is possible to choose the position.

Embodiment An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. In FIG. 1, the water level adjustment unit of the water level detection device body 4
A small hole 19 is provided at one end of the flat plate cam 13 for pressing the flat plate cam 4a, and the lever 21 shown in FIG.
Slide 13 Since the operation knob is fitted to the lever 21, the operation part and the water level detection device main body 4 can be provided at positions apart from each other, and even if water enters from the operation part, the water level detection device 4 is provided. The effect of can be prevented. Further, the screw hole 20 of the holding plate 17 for mounting the water level detection device main body 4 is provided on the holding plate 17 extended downward regardless of the movement of the flat plate cam 13, and thus is attached regardless of the position of the flat plate cam 13. . Further, unlike the conventional case, the groove direction for holding the flat plate cam 13 of the holding plate 17 is opposite to the screw mounting direction, and the assemblability is improved.

Also, the spring body 23 formed integrally with the lever 21 of FIG.
Comes into contact with the projection 24 provided on the box housing the water level detecting device 4, and the position of the flat plate cam 13 when they come into contact with each other is adjusted to the inclined portion 25 on the left side of the cam as shown in the figure. Lever 26
Is on board. In this state, the water level detection device body 4 is once turned off and the set water level is reset. At this time, the flat cam 13 is trying to move to the right by the water level adjusting lever 26 urged by the spring, but the spring force is weak, and not only the flat cam 13 but also the lever 21 must be moved. Since the lever 26 for use stops on the way at the inclined portion 25, the lever 21 is urged by the spring body 23 so as to move to the right. FIG. 3 is a view showing a state in which the embodiment of the present invention is attached to the box body 14. Ribs 27 and claw bodies 28 are provided integrally with the box body to perform positioning and holding when the water level detection device 4 is attached. ing.

Advantages of the Invention As is apparent from the above embodiments, according to the present invention, the water level detection device main body and its operating portion can be installed separately, and both are provided at optimal positions, and water level detection is performed by the intrusion of the operating portion. It is possible to prevent adverse effects such as a short circuit on the device.
