管には熱伝達の性能要求から一般に薄肉円管が使用され
るため、ヒータ固定金具を円管の外部に溶接する方法
は、溶接が容易ではなく、又、配管の耐圧部の金属組織
に熱影響を及ぼし、かつ溶接欠陥の検査が確実に行えな
いという欠点を有する。この欠点を解決する方法とし
て、冷却管にフィン付冷却管を採用し、フィンの所定位
置に切欠部を設けて、ヒータを固定する方法を考案した
ものである。
