Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent interruption of communication attended with the changeover by deciding an optimum base station when a mobile terminal equipment changes over a channel, allowing a mobile communication exchange to control a radio base station to control the changeover of the channel thereby simplifying a changeover control procedure of the channel attended with the movement of the mobile terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A communication object base station decision means 302 of a mobile terminal equipment 3 decides an optimum radio base station 2 as a communication object in response to a current position of the terminal equipment 3. A vice packet transmission reception means 301 processes a voice signal sent from the user of the terminal equipment 3 into a packet, sends the packet to the base station 2 decided by the means 302, receives a voice packet sent from the station 2 and inversely converts the packet into a voice signal. A transmission/ reception means 101 of a mobile communication exchange 1 converts the voice signal transmitting to the terminal equipment 3 controlling as a call control exchange into packet, transfers the packet to the terminal equipment 3 via the station 2, receives the voice packet from the terminal equipment and inversely converts the packet into the voice signal. The control means 102 revises a transfer path of the voice packet transferred by the means 101 to the terminal equipment 3. The means 201 transfers the transmission reception voice packet between the terminal equipment 3 and the exchange 1.

As is clear from the above description, the present embodiment
According to this, the mobile terminal (MS) 3 receives the power from each radio base station 2.
Optimum communication target wireless base station 2 that monitors the reception level of waves
The mobile terminal (MS) 3 to determine the radio base station 21of
From wireless zone to wireless base station 2 2Moved to the wireless zone
In this case, the wireless base station 2 that has been the communication target until now 1
The wireless base station 22Changed to wireless base station 22Through
Then, the voice packet (ee) is transmitted, and the call control exchange
A mobile telecommunication switch 11Is transferred from the mobile terminal (MS) 3.
Analyze the transfer route information of the sent voice packet (ee)
By changing the transfer route of voice packet (ee)
Packet that recognizes and transfers to mobile terminal (MS) 3
Since the transfer path of (ff) is also changed, transfer path switching control
The procedure is also as shown in FIG. 5, as compared with the conventional method shown in FIG.
Greatly simplified.

As described above, according to the present invention, even when a mobile terminal moves in the mobile communication network and it is necessary to switch the communication path, the mobile terminal determines an optimum radio base station as a communication target. However, the mobile communication exchange controls the wireless base station to control the switching of the communication path, which greatly simplifies the procedure for controlling the communication path switching. Generation of noise due to switching is also significantly reduced.

1. A mobile communication network comprising a plurality of mobile communication exchanges (1), a plurality of radio base stations (2), and a plurality of mobile terminals (3), wherein each mobile terminal in the mobile communication network is a mobile communication network. The mobile communication exchange (1) that first accepts the call to and from (3) operates as a call control exchange that manages the call until the call is released, and the mobile terminal (3) is extant. Communication target base station determining means (302) for determining an optimum wireless base station (2) as a communication target according to the position, and packetizing voice transmitted by the user of the mobile terminal (3) to obtain the communication target base station. A voice packet transmitting / receiving unit (301) for transmitting to the radio base station (2) determined by the determining unit (302), receiving a voice packet transmitted from the radio base station (2), and converting the voice packet back to voice. And the mobile communication switch In 1), voice transmitted to the mobile terminal (3) controlled as the call control exchange is packetized, transferred to the mobile terminal (3) via the radio base station (2), and the mobile A voice packet transmitting / receiving means (101) for receiving a voice packet transmitted from the terminal (3) and converting the voice packet into a voice, and a transfer route of the voice packet transferred from the mobile terminal (3), and monitoring the transfer route. And a transfer route control unit (102) for changing the transfer route of the voice packet transferred by the voice packet transmitting / receiving unit (101) to the mobile terminal (3) based on the monitoring result. The radio base station (2) is provided with voice packet transfer means (201) for transferring voice packets transmitted and received between the mobile terminal (3) and the mobile communication exchange (1). Mobile switching system to be.
