Abstract

PURPOSE:To cope with an incoming call earlier than the conventional one by providing a second display which is seen from outside even in a closing state other than a first display in front. CONSTITUTION:A portable telephone set 1 has folding construction in which first and second housings 1a and 1b can mutually be folded at a hinge part 2. The display 8 is mounted in front which has a speaker 15 and a lead switch 12 in a state there the housings 1a and 1b are mutually opened. Consequently, when the housings 1a and 1b are mutually folded with the hinge part 2 In a center, the display 8 can not be seen but only the display 11 can be seen.
