本考案は、背筋力測定又は背筋力測定と体前屈測定の両

ち、上体を約30度に前傾させながらチェーンで計器に
つながれている把手を両手で握り、最大努力でその把手
を上方に引き上げることによって背筋力を測るものであ
る。この立位式背筋力テストでは、脚を伸ばした状態で
重量物を持ち上げるのと同様の姿勢を取ることを強いら
れることになる。 脚をのばしたままで重量物を挙上する動作は、身体動作
学的にみて、腰部の負担が大きく、ギックリ腰を含めた
腰痛の原因となり得るものである。 この様に、立位式背筋力テストは、腰部に無理がかか
り、腰痛を惹起する危険性があるために、背筋力テスト
は小学3年生以上から20歳までのテスト項目とし、3
0歳以上の壮年体力テストの項目から除外されている。 立位式背筋力テストは中腰で腰に無理がかかるので、腰
部を中心とした準備運動を行なわせる。引き上げる際は
ゆっくり上方に引っ張る、把手から絶対に手を離さない
など、指導者の適切な指導によって、腰痛を防ぐ努力が
なされてきた。 モータリゼーション化が進み、省力化社会の今日のわが
国においては、昔に比べて子供のみならず若者までもが
足腰が弱くなっている傾向がみられる。 平成の時代に入り、学童の足腰の弱さを裏付けるかのよ
うに、背筋力テストで椎間板ヘルニアが誘発されたと言
う報告がみられるようになった。 背筋力テストは、上体の背部の筋の発育発達状況を見る
指標として極めて重要なものである。背筋の発育・発達
が悪いと、若年層では側湾になりやすく、老年層では胸
椎の前湾を招きやすい、さらに、姿勢が正しく保てない
ために腰を痛める、疲れやすいなど体に種々の変調を引
き起こす原因ともなる。 学童においては熾烈な受験態勢と省力化社会により慢性
的運動不足が生じ、足腰が弱くなっている。また、高齢
化社会では、老人といえどもかくしゃくと生き抜くには
足腰が強いことが要求される。 省力化社会になり、全ての年代層に足腰の弱さがみられ
る現代、腰痛を引き起こさずに背筋力を測ることは必要
なことである。 従来、体前屈テストについては長座体前屈測定装置が実
願昭62−100790号の明細書及び図面に開示され
ているが、同装置は、垂直状の接足部を備えた器台に昇
降機構を設け、その昇降機構の上端に水平状の測定台を
取付けた構成のものであり、使用時は器台を床上に設置
し、被検者はその床上に長座姿勢となり、足裏を接足部
に当てて体前屈を行うものである。 従って、従来装置は、第1に体前屈測定にしか供用でき
ない。第2に被検者は水平な床面上に長座姿勢となって
垂直状の接足部に足裏を当てるため、姿勢が安定しにく
く、腰部に負担がかかり、腰痛の原因となったり、測定

前方において前記長座用台に取付けられた背筋力計装着
手段と、(ニ)前記フットサポートの上側に取付けられ
た体前屈計測器装着手段との双方を有することを特徴と

力計を着脱自在に取付け得る背筋力計装着手段5が備え
られている。また、フットサポート4の上側には、周知
の体前屈計測器(図示省略)が取付けられる体前屈計測
器装着手段6が設けられている。 長座用台1は、長座姿勢が取りやすく、しかも背筋力が
100%発揮できるようにするとともに、上体が充分に
前に屈曲することができるように下り勾配がついてい
る。 シートパット3は、座り心地がよいように型取ったもの
で作り、測定者の身長に合わせて台1の長手方向位置を
調節できるアジャスト装置3aを有している。 フットサポート4は、測定者が足を固定し易い形にし、
充分に足を突張ることができるように数百kgの押力にも
耐えられる素材を用いて作られている。また、足の左右
位置が調節できるようにアジャスト装置4aが付いてい
る。 背筋力計装着手段5は、長座用台1に設けた起立部51
に背筋力計を着脱自在に取付けるフック52などで構成
されており、背筋力測定に耐えられるように数百kgの引
っ張り力にも耐えられる素材を用いている。フック52
は、測定者の座高に適合する高さに位置調整できるよう
に、起立部51に設けた縦長孔に挿通し、背面に突出し
たフックの軸端部に蝶ナットなどを螺合してある。 体前屈測定器装着手段6は、フットサポート4の上側
の、背筋力テスト時の測定者の動きの障害にならないよ
うな位置に取付けられている。測定者により高さが変え
られるように、起立部51に対して上下移動可能に取付
けると便利である。 上記の構成により、この考案に係る測定装置を使用する
ときは、第2図に示すように、背筋力テストを行う時
は、背筋力計Aを背筋力計装着手段5に取付け、長座用
台1上に測定者Pが上がり、シートパット3に腰を下ろ
し、長座姿勢となって、足をフットサポート4に当て
る。この際に、シートパット3とフットサポート4との
間の距離が長座姿勢の測定者の脚の長さに適合しない場
合は、シートパット3及び/又はフットサポート4のア
ジャスト装置を操作して、適合する位置に調節する。 そして、従来の立位式の場合と同様に、背筋力計Aの把
手を両手でもち、足をフットサポート4に突張ってその
把手を引っ張る。 また、この測定装置で体前屈テストを行う場合は、先の

力計装着手段5のみを取付けて、背筋力テストのみを行
