6に操作杆7の先端部に取付けたピニオンギヤ8を噛合
連繋させてエイミングスクリュと操作杆とを互いに直交
状に配置して構成したエイミング装置では、クラウンギ
ヤとピニオンギヤとを被覆するギヤケース9を固定部材
2に固着させても上記操作杆7を挿通させるギヤケース
の挿通穴11はその構成上U字形状に切り欠いて形成せざ
るを得ない為、上記操作杆7は実質的にクラウンギヤと
ピニオンギヤとの噛合関係だけで支持されることにな
り、従って操作杆が不安定に揺動してしまう不具合があ
った。そこで従来では、操作杆7の頭部7b方を固定部材
に突設した支持片30の引掛穴31に挿入係合させて操作杆
の安定化を図っていた。しかし乍ら、固定部材に支持片
30の引掛穴31を形成する場合、その引掛穴は横向きU字
形状に形成しなければならないので、複雑なスライド金
型を使用するか、後加工により引掛穴を形成するか、或
いは支持片を別成形して後加工により固定部材に固着し
なければならず、いずれにしてもコスト高になる不具合
があった。

向きU字溝内に挿入支持させた事を特徴としたものであ
