Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the secondary side wiring of a terminal block unnecessary by a method wherein the terminal block is molded integrally with a resin molded substrate and lead frames are employed for the conductors of terminal units of the terminal block. CONSTITUTION:A terminal block 1a for a power supply is molded integrally with a resin molded substrate 1. The conductors of terminal units of the terminal block 1a for power supply are lead frames 2, included in the resin molded substrate 1 and whose surface is exposed, and, therefore, electric power can be supplied to the primary side of a print plate 3 or an electromagnetic contactor 5 by only connecting power supply cables to the terminal block la for the power supply. The power supply cables are connected and fixed to the lead frames 2 through screwing upon connecting the power supply cables to the lead frames 2 and, therefore, nuts, fixed to the resin molded substrate 1, are embedded at the lower side of the lead frames 2 of the terminal unit of terminal block 1a for the power supply. According to this method, the wiring of the secondary side of the terminal block is not necessitated different from conventional terminal block.

In the above-mentioned prior art, when assembling the electrical component mounting apparatus, it is necessary to mount the terminal block on the housing, which causes an increase in assembly time. Further, generally, the power supply wiring of the air conditioner is such that the outdoor electrical component mounting device 11 inside the outdoor unit 17 is installed as shown in FIG.
The commercial power is supplied to the outdoor unit 17 by connecting the power cable 9 to the outdoor unit 17. This commercial power is supplied from the outdoor electrical component mounting apparatus 11 to the indoor electrical component mounting apparatus 12 in the indoor unit 18 using the crossover wiring cable 10.
Therefore, in the conventional technique, as shown in FIG.
In order to connect the power supply cable 9 and the crossover wiring cable 10 to 1, the terminals of the power supply terminal block 21 must be provided with two poles for each power supply. As a result, the power supply terminal block 21
The dimension in the longitudinal direction becomes large. Further, since the terminal portions of the power supply terminal block are arranged in a plane, there is a risk that the phase of the power supply may be erroneously wired when the power supply is wired.

In order to solve the above problems, a terminal block is integrally molded on a resin-molded substrate in which a lead frame is covered with a synthetic resin, and the terminal portion conductor of this terminal block is inside the resin-molded substrate. It is used with the surface of the lead frame exposed. In addition, in order to reduce the occurrence of erroneous wiring, the structure of the terminal portion conductor of the terminal block integrally molded on the resin molded substrate has a two-stage structure.

Since the terminal block is formed integrally with the resin-molded substrate, there is no need to attach the terminal block. Further, since the lead frame is used as the terminal conductor of the terminal block, the crossover 2 for connecting between the secondary side terminals of the power supply terminal block 21 is used.
2 and the wiring work using the cable 23 for connecting the electrical component mounting device and the power supply terminal block 21 becomes unnecessary.
Moreover, since the terminal portion conductor of the terminal block has a two-stage structure, the terminals of each phase are arranged vertically. As a result, it is possible to improve the recognizability at the time of wiring the power supply and reduce the occurrence of erroneous wiring. Further, the longitudinal dimension of the terminal block can be shortened.

Next, the outdoor electrical component mounting apparatus will be described. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an outdoor electrical component mounting apparatus. The commercial power supply required for operating the air conditioner is connected to the power supply terminal block 1a integrally formed with the resin molded substrate 1 attached to the outdoor electrical component mounting device in the outdoor unit. Since the surface of the lead frame 2 included in the resin-molded substrate 1 is exposed, the terminal conductors of the power supply terminal block 1a are simply connected to the power supply terminal block 1a by a commercial power source. Power is supplied to the refrigerating cycle control printed board 3 of the outdoor unit and the primary side of the electromagnetic contactor 5 for turning on / off the power of the compressor. On the primary side of the electromagnetic contactor 5, fuses 6 and 7 are attached to protect the outdoor electrical component attaching device from an overcurrent generated due to a failure of the compressor or the like. Reference numeral 4 is a condenser for the outdoor fan motor. 1b is a transmission terminal block for connecting a transmission cable for transmission with a printed board for controlling the indoor unit refrigeration cycle in the indoor unit, and this transmission terminal block 1b is also integrally molded with the resin molded substrate 1, The surface of the lead frame 2 is exposed at the terminal portion, and by simply connecting the transmission cable to the transmission terminal block 1b, the lead frame 2 is electrically connected to the printed board 3 through the lead frame 2.

As for the power supply wiring of the air conditioner, a commercial power supply is generally connected to the outdoor unit, and this power supply is supplied to the indoor unit via the crossover wiring. In such a system, it is necessary to provide two terminals on the terminal block for each phase of the power supply. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, the lead frame 2 of the terminal portion of the power supply terminal block 1a is processed into a step shape so that the structure of the terminal portion of the power supply terminal block 1a has a two-step structure, and each power supply has two terminals. Secure. When connecting a power supply to the power supply terminal block 1a having the two-stage structure, a power supply cable 9 for supplying commercial power to the outdoor unit is supplied to the lower part of the power supply terminal block 1a so as to supply power from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. The crossover wiring cable 10 is connected to the upper stage of the lead frame 2.

According to the present invention, since the lead frame contained in the resin-molded substrate is used as the terminal conductor of the power supply terminal block, the wiring on the secondary side of the terminal block is different from that of the conventional terminal block. There is no need to do it. In addition, by processing the lead frame and making the shape of the terminal part a two-stage structure, the terminals of the same phase will be arranged vertically, improving the recognizability during power wiring,
Occurrence of erroneous wiring can be reduced. Moreover, the longitudinal dimension of the terminal block is shortened.
