Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the selection of acceptable or reject printed matters by performing a marking on a printed surface or a rear side of the printed matter for the results of inspecting the printed matters with an inspector immediately after inspection with the inspector to detect a mark by visual inspection or with a detector. CONSTITUTION:In the passage of a printed matter 1 having the same patterns printed facing each other on a plurality of surfaces on a printing paper through an inspection mechanism section 2, the printed surfaces are inspected with an inspection mechanism section 2. A marking is performed on the printed surface or the rear side of the printed matter 1 for the results of inspecting the patterns with a printing device, a laser printer, an ink jet printer as marking mechanism section 3 or a punching with a puncher or the like. Marks herein used may be anything simple such as those as black spot on a white ground. The marks are detected by visual inspection or a detector to select acceptable or reject printed matters 1. Moreover, the color or shape of the marks can be changed according to the details of deficiency to display the details of the deficiency.

2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional printed matter inspection method, as a method of Conventional Example 1, the printed surface of a printed material such as a label cut after printing is visually inspected by a human for 100% inspection of the printing quality of the printed surface to determine whether it is a good product or a defective product. I was sorting. Further, as a conventional example 2, in a manufacturing process for manufacturing a label or the like by printing the same pattern on one printing sheet by a sheet-fed printing machine with a plurality of faces attached, the same pattern is printed with a plurality of faces attached. Inspected with an inspection device that has an inspection function for inspecting the printed matter and a sorting function that sorts based on the inspection result, and if there is a defective portion in one of the multiple patterns of the same printed material, it is considered as a defective product. , And others were sorted and collected as good products. In the next cutting process, the accumulated products are classified into good products and defective products and cut into each pattern by a cutting machine. After cutting only the products containing defective products, all the print quality of the printing surface is inspected by visual inspection and after cutting. I was sorting out defective products. Incidentally, the conventional inspection device has only the inspection function of inspecting the printed matter as described above and the selection function of selecting the inspection result.

The method of Conventional Example 1 inspects all printed matter after cutting, so that the time required for the inspection is enormous and the printing cost is greatly affected. In the method of Conventional Example 2, the same pattern is printed on one sheet of printing paper by a sheet-fed printing machine with a plurality of faces and the printed matter is inspected by an inspection device before cutting. The implication of inspecting before this cutting is that an expensive image processing device or the like is required for inspection of the printed matter, and in order to make the device function properly, the printed matter is conveyed accurately to the image processing section without distortion. Transport mechanism is required. Therefore, the inspection device including the image processing device and the printed material conveying mechanism becomes very expensive. Therefore, many inspection devices are required to inspect all printed matter after cutting, enormous equipment investment is required, and the size of printed matter after cutting is infinite, but the size of printed matter before cutting is large. Is constant, so that the printing paper transport mechanism of the inspection device can be easily configured. However, this inspection device also sorts and collects good products and defective products.
The same pattern is printed on multiple sheets of printing paper on multiple sheets, and it is not possible to sort and collect defective products according to the defective parts of the pattern and the defective contents because of the problem of the accumulation space. It is possible. Therefore, after cutting the printed matter containing defective patterns accumulated as defective products, all the defective patterns are removed by visual inspection by humans. However, in this method, there is a discrepancy between the determination result by the inspection device and the determination result by the human, and the number of defects displayed by the inspection device and the number of detected defects by the human are different, which causes confusion. Further, since the visual inspection by humans inspects each pattern in detail, it takes a long inspection time, and such an inspection method has little effect of using the inspection device.

[Means for Solving the Problem] Immediately after the inspection device, the inspection result of the printed matter by the inspection device is marked on the printed surface of the printed matter or on the back side thereof, and the mark is detected visually or by a detector. The inspection method was to select good and bad prints. In addition, as a means thereof, an inspection mechanism section for inspecting the quality of the pattern printed on the printing paper, and a marking mechanism for marking the inspection result of each pattern on the printing surface or the back surface of the printed matter. Composed of parts.

EXAMPLES Examples of the present invention will be described below. As shown in FIG. 2, when the printed matter 1 in which the same pattern 4 is printed on the printing paper 11 with a plurality of faces attached thereto passes through the inspection mechanism unit 2 as shown in FIG. Part 2
The inspection result of each pattern 4 is inspected by the printed matter 1
Is printed on the printing surface or the back surface thereof by a marking machine, a laser printer, or an inkjet printer, or punching by punching, and the marking is performed. Marks are visually detected or detected by a detector to sort good and bad prints. Further, it is possible to display the content of the defect by changing the color or shape of the mark according to the content of the defect.

According to the inspection method and apparatus of the present invention, the printed matter is inspected by the inspection mechanism section, the inspection result is marked on the front surface or the back side of the printed matter by the marking mechanism section, and the mark is visually observed. Alternatively, it is characterized in that a non-defective product and a defective product are selected by a detector. This mark can be detected instantly and easily, and in particular, the mark on the back side of the printed matter marked on a white background is very easy to carry out even when visually inspected. In contrast to the case where the good quality and the bad quality are selected while inspecting the print quality of each pattern, in the case of the present inspection method, the selection can be done instantly and the inspection time is very short. Further, since the inspection result of the inspection mechanism section is directly displayed by the mark, there is no difference between the inspection result of the inspection device and the inspection result by visual inspection as in the conventional example 2. Further, since the mechanization of selection by detecting a mark also becomes a simple detection such as detecting a black dot on a white background, an inexpensive detector can be used and high-speed detection and selection can be easily performed.
