B. Configuration of the Invention (1) Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention rotatably supports a shield plate in a vertically rotatable manner on a cap body to open and close a window hole on the front surface thereof. In a riding helmet in which a holding member that elastically holds both side edges of the shield plate when the shield plate is closed is fixed to a cap body, a fixed guide portion integrally formed on a molding attached to an outer surface of the cap body is provided. A holding member is slidably engaged with the shield plate in an opening / closing direction so that the holding member penetrates through a long hole formed in the holding member and long in the opening / closing direction. The holding member is fixed to the cap body with a screw of a book.

(2) Operation According to the above configuration, when the shield plate is closed and the engagement relationship between the plate and the holding member is distorted due to manufacturing error of each part, the holding member is fixedly guided with the screw loosened. Since the shield plate and the holding member can be placed in an appropriate engagement state by sliding the guide part to slide in the opening and closing direction of the shield plate, tightening the screws in this state will ensure that the holding member is in the proper mounting position. It can be fixed easily. By adjusting the position of the shield member in the opening / closing direction with respect to the holding member, the engagement relationship between the shield plate and the holding member can always be properly maintained even if there is a manufacturing error.

In the figure, nuts 6, 6 are embedded in both left and right side walls of the cap body 2, and a support plate 7 is fixed to the center portion of the front wall with screws 8. The support plate 7 is integrally provided with a pin 9 protruding from its front surface. On the other hand, the visor 5 has mounting holes at both left and right ends.
10 and 10 are provided, and a support cylinder 11 is integrally provided on the inner surface of the central portion so as to project. Then, the visor 5 is attached to the cap body 2 by fitting the support cylinder 11 into the pin 9 and screwing the screws 12 and 12 which are passed through the attachment holes 10 and 10 into the nuts 6 and 6.

At the open position of the shield plate 4, the upper end thereof is the support cylinder 11
Although it is regulated by abutting against, the support cylinder 11 is covered with a rubber cushion pipe 15 in order to reduce the impact at the time of abutment. Further, in order to maintain the open / closed position of the shield plate 4, a protrusion 16 and recesses 17 and 17 'which are elastically engaged with each other at those positions are formed in the visor 5 and the shield plate 4, respectively.

The holding member 18 will be described with reference to FIGS. 9 to 11. The holding member 18 has a long hole 43 in the central portion, which is long in the opening / closing direction of the shield plate 4 (that is, the front-back direction of the holding member 18). Only one screw 44 inserted through this long hole 43
The holding member 18 is screwed into the nut 45 embedded in the holding member 18
Is fixed to the cap body 2. The holding member 18 has a channel-shaped movable guide portion 46 at the rear end thereof, and the movable guide portion 46 is formed at the front end of a horizontal synthetic resin molding 48 adhered to the outer periphery of the cap body 2. A concave and convex portion is slidably fitted into the fixed guide portion 47 in the opening and closing direction of the shield plate 4. Further, the holding member 18 is provided at its front end with a locking claw 49 that faces the outer surface of the cap body 2 with a predetermined gap therebetween.
When the shield plate 4 is closed, it cooperates with the outer surface of the cap body 2 to elastically hold the bead 4a of the shield plate 4.

Thus, when the shield plate 4 is closed, its bead 4a and the locking claw 49
When the engagement relationship with the is distorted due to the manufacturing error of each part, loosen the screw 44 and slide the holding parts 18 in the front-back direction, that is, in the opening / closing direction of the shield plate 4 while sliding the guide parts 46 and 47. By moving it, the bead 4a and the locking claw 49 are properly engaged, and then the screw 44 is tightened.

Thus, the shield plate 4 and the holding member are absorbed by absorbing the manufacturing error.
It is possible to properly maintain the engagement relationship with 18 and prevent vibration of the shield plate 4 due to wind pressure or the like. Further, the movable guide portion 46 and the fixed guide portion 47 which are fitted to each other are the screws 44 of the holding member 18.
Since the rotation around is prevented, only one screw 44 for fixing the holding member 18 is sufficient, which contributes to simplification of the structure. Furthermore, since the guide portions 46 and 47 maintain the continuity between the holding member 18 and the molding 48, the appearance of the holding member 18 does not deteriorate even when the holding member 18 is adjusted and displaced.

Then, when the running wind flows into the distribution chamber 30 from the air intake 31, a part of the running wind enters the inside of the chin cover 2a through the through holes 33, 33 ... It flows toward the tip of the nose or the mouth, guides the exhalation of the person backward or downward, and promotes ventilation in the cap body 2. Further, the other air that has flowed into the distribution chamber 30 is rectified from the passage 35 while rising in the guide passage 35, and is then ejected from the plurality of fumaroles 37, 37, so that the ejected air does not disperse in the surroundings. Ascend along the inner surface of the shield plate 4. In this way, it is possible to prevent the inner surface of the shield plate 4 from being fogged by the user's exhalation.

C. Effect of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, a holding member that elastically holds both side edges of the shield plate when the shield plate is closed is provided with a fixed guide portion provided on the outer surface of the cap body for opening and closing the shield plate. Holding member with one screw that is slidably engaged with the holding member in a sliding direction and penetrates through the long hole formed in the holding member that is long in the opening / closing direction and is screwed into the cap body so as to be pivotally operable from the outside. When the shield plate is closed and the engagement relationship between the plate and the holding member is distorted due to manufacturing error of each part, the holding member is fixed to the fixed guide part with the screw loosened. By sliding and guiding the shield plate in the opening / closing direction, the shield plate and the holding member can be placed in an appropriate engagement state, and by tightening the screws in this state, the holding member can be fixed in the proper mounting position without difficulty. Because of the existence of the above manufacturing error, To be able to maintain the engagement between the shield plate and the holding member always properly, it can reliably prevent vibration of the shield plate by wind pressure or the like. Further, when tightening the above-mentioned screw, since the holding member and the fixed guide portion are engaged with each other in a concavo-convex manner, the co-rotation of the holding member with respect to the screw can be surely restricted, so that only one screw is used for fixing the holding member. One member is sufficient for each member, and the position adjusting operation can be efficiently performed.

Further, in particular, since the fixed guide portion is integrally formed with the molding attached to the outer surface of the cap body, the molding and the holding member can be arranged in series and the holding member is less visible than the outer surface of the hat body. The appearance of the cap body is good. Moreover, since such a molding can be used both as a slide guide means for the holding member and as a rotation preventing means at the time of screw tightening, the structure can be simplified correspondingly, which can contribute to cost reduction and improvement of assemblability. .
