Claims (3)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 熱間仕上圧延機の入り側にて、先行して
搬送する鋼片の後端部とこれに引き続いて搬送する鋼片
の先端部とを、両者の突き合わせ接触状態で少なくとも
各鋼片の幅方向両端域で接触しその間には空隙を有する
形状に加工し、次いで加熱接合した後、連続的に仕上圧
延に供する鋼片の連続熱間圧延方法において、 幅が異なる鋼片を接合して仕上圧延するに際し、広幅材
の接合端部の平面形状を、狭幅材との突き合わせ接触領
域よりも幅方向端部側が、該狭幅材へ延びる部分の少な
い形状にすることを特徴とする鋼片の連続熱間圧延方
法。
1.
