Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a large electric rotating machine equipped with a cooler which can be transported with said machine in one united body. CONSTITUTION:A cooler 1 is located at the upper corners of a frame 2 at both sides of a shaft 3 of an electric rotating machine throughout the overall length and in the shaft direction of the frame, by which the space of frame 2 can be effectively utilized, the electric rotating machine assembled in a compact size in one united body together with the cooler 1 can be transported as it is, thereby shortening the assembly time period in the field and maintaining the initial quality.

器を組立状態で一体輸送する場合、横置き形では道路の

じた。分解輸送して現地で組み立てる場合には、工数を
要し、特に海外で組立据付けするとき、現地作業工数が
増加すれば作業費が増加する。また、現地組立は品質の
面でも絶縁劣化などの恐れがある。回転電機を一体輸送
すれば、現地の組立期間を短縮できて、かつ巻線,磁極
などの品質の維持を保つことができる。

すれば、回転電機の高さを従来より僅か増やすだけで、
体格を変えずに冷却器2を搭載することができる。回転
電機内の空気は、回転軸の両側に取り付けられた図示し
ない軸流ファンにより、図1(A)の軸方向両側から回
転子,固定子を通り、上昇して中央から左右に分かれ、
軸方向両側から回転電機内へ循環する。図1(B)にお
いては、フレーム1内の空気は軸流ファンにより上昇
し、中央で左右に分かれ冷却器1を通過し、熱交換さ
れ、回転電機内を循環する。この発明による冷却器を備
えた回転電機は、冷却器を搭載し、一体に組立て輸送す
ることができて、現地での組立工数を低減させ、かつ品
質を安定させることができる。
