CONSTITUTION:An air-cooled heat exchanger type rotating electric machine comprises a stator, a rotor, an outer blade fan 3 mounted at one end of a rotary shaft 1 at an outside of a bracket 7, and an air-cooled heat exchanger 6 mounted at an upper part of the bracket 7 to heat exchange the air circulated in the machine with the air fed from the fan 3, wherein the fan 3 has twin blades to suck the air from both sides of the fan 3 and to feed it to the exchanger 6 thereby to reduce the fan 3 in size and to contain a bottom of the outer blade fan cover 8 from above an installation foundation.
