別に集塵器を設けてそれぞれダストの集塵が行われてい

供給装置へ導いて焼結する方法が開示されている。

しかし、特公昭51-23246号公報に開示された方法では焼
結完了層に捕集されたダストは排鉱後焼結鉱が破砕さ
れ、また冷却器にて空冷される際に再飛散するので大部
分のダストは焼結工程を単に循環するに過ぎないもので
あったし、特開昭51-52903号公報に開示された方法では
ガス中のダストが焼結原料層へ捕捉された後点火が行わ
れるためダストの再飛散は防止できるものの、排鉱部よ
り下流側に設けられた冷却機から焼結機上流側の熱風供
給装置へ含ダストガスを導くことになるため設備費及び
運転費が嵩み、かつガス中のダストによってブロワーの
インペラーの摩耗が著しい等の問題があった。

(課題を解決するための手段) 本考案は、連続式下方吸引焼結機において、焼結機給鉱
部近傍の発塵箇所に設けた集塵用フードと点火炉の下流
側に設けた保熱炉とをダクトで連結して該発塵箇所で発
生するダストを該保熱炉へ導入するように構成したこと
を特徴とする焼結機給鉱部の集塵装置 (作用) 連続式下方吸引焼結機において、点火炉にて表層に点火
され、下方から吸引されることにより焼結反応が表層か
ら下層へ向かって進行しつつある焼結ベッドが点火炉を
出て保熱炉を進行する時点から焼結ベッド表層に亀裂が
発生する。この亀裂は焼結反応の進行に伴う焼締りに起
因して生じるもので、時には大亀裂となってここから焼
結反応に寄与しない空気が吸引されるいわゆる漏風が生
じて、焼結鉱製造上問題となっていたが、本考案装置で
は含ダストガスを集塵用フードから下方吸引により内部
が負圧となっている保熱炉へ導入して焼結ベッドへ吸引
させるので、保熱炉内で焼結ベッド表層に亀裂が生じた
場合にはその亀裂に含ダストガスが多く吸引されること
となり、その結果亀裂部にダストを堆積させ漏風を防止
する。また、亀裂部が焼結反応層に達している場合は吸
引されたダストが焼結されることになり、ダストが有効
利用される。

ー、7はパレット、8はウインドボックスである。
